This is our second humidifier. We always buy Vonrado for their great design, quiet and reliable operation, and quality.

Leaks

I bought this version with the two water bottles as well as one with the one water bottle and they all leak. I have to keep the humidifiers on trays to hold all the water that spills out of them.

Lights? Not good for bedroom use!

Though dim, the lights can't be shut off and that's not good for sleep! Only had it one night so don't know how well it performs otherwise.

Worked for 4 weeks

For the first few weeks, the humidifier worked well. One issue I had out of the box was the low water indicator consistently turning on despite the tank being 1/2 to 3/4 full, which would cause the unit to turn off after 4 hours. I was able to work around this, but recently the humidistat stopped working. Easy to use, clean and nicely adds humidity to home

I have two vornado humidifiers. A single tank one I bought 1 year ago and a dual tank one I bought 1 month ago. They are nicely designed easy to use and clean humidifiers. I've had many ultrasonic ones and hands down this is much better

no more white dust, but not much humidity, either

Decided to try this instead of the cool mist humidifier I had been using for the last few years. (I got tired of the white dust all over everything.) The humidity has yet to go over 40% according to a separate hygrometer that I have set up in the room. That means the device runs continuously because it never gets up to 50%. Works great easy to fill and clean

Works great my skin is already thanking me. Easy to fill and clean. Its not noisy at all, has night light but not crazy bright

Initially worked great

Purchased this last January. For the remainder of the heating season it worked great, raising my homes humidity level from 28 to 40 percent. As heating season has just started brought this unit out and filled the tanks. Within hours the tanks were empty, unfortunately most of the water had leaked out onto my carpet. It seems that the valves at the base of the water canisters do not seal and the water overflows from the lower reservoir. Good thing this was not near my wood floors!

Did not work

Bought two units. One unit worked for about 30 seconds and stopped work. Second unit work for about 1 month and then the fan developed a loud rattle. Not satisfied at all.

Great, but those filters, I mean, wicks...

On my third winter with this excellent machine. Streamlined modern look, puts out a lot of moisture, the fan makes a "clean" sound that doesn't bother me, even though it's audible, it's easy to fill, easy to take apart and clean. But I wish the wicks lasted longer. I run the machine 24/7 and three to four weeks seems the limit before the wicks are dry. Or I wish I could buy the wicks in quantity and receive a discount; or wicks that can be soaked in cleaner and re-used. Still, a very well design...

The easiest humidifier to clean that I've ever owned, hands down!

I have had a variety of humidifiers over the years and every one of them has had their specific problems when it comes to cleaning them. Just a few months ago, we purchased the Vornado EVDC500. We liked that it had two separate water jugs and the promise of a 'quiet' motor was also a compelling reason to choose this one. Doesn't keep up humidity

Does not get our humidity above 20%..I can't say how many sq ft my apartment is but I could guarantee the downstairs isn't above 1000 sq ft. Pretty disappointed.

only 1 gal/day

Easy to use, easy to fill, easy to clean, but paper filters inside aren't wicking the water up and are mostly dry (right from new). Room humidity rose from around 18% to now around 20% with humidifier on high 24/7. Needs a better filter or occasional pump of water onto the top of the filters to make this work. My old small 1gal ultrasonic (designed for a much smaller room) last year went through 2 gallons/day in the same spot...thought this one rated for 4 gallons/day would give more, not les...

Horrible product

Poor design. When removing the tanks to to refill you will have a trail of dripping water from the humidifier all the way to the sink. Unless of course you wait until it’s completely empty. And don’t even try to move this thing once you have water in the base unless you are prepared with towels to dry your floor. Vornado generally makes good products but this is a huge disappointment. Save yourself money and a headache. Don’t buy.
