excellent rat trap

This works great Have had a rat problem in my garage for a month. I've tried other traps that didn't work. First night I placed it where I'd seen droppings it worked. Set it 5 nights in a row and removed 5 rats. They were smaller rats, body was 3-6 inches long. Have loaned it to my neighbor who has had success 2 nights. Yes, I’m a believer! I bought this trap July 4, 2019. I saw a rat and headed straight to Lowe’s. I so wanted a catch it that night but no can do. As with any new device, you get excited from the prospect. I got up every morning looking and nothing. I still believed that it was a good device. I kept it on and the same bait in it and forgot about it. I assumed the rat was dead already. Today, 8-2-19, I had a catch. Easy and clean. The rat was completely in the trap. Well the item is as specified but the area to place the bait is tiny. I don’t think it interests the rats enough to walk in

It Works!

We have had a rat in our attic for a few weeks and the rat was too smart to get caught in any wooden snap trap. I have tried poison, old fashioned wooden trap, and the trap that puts a ring around the critter to kill it. This is the ONLY thing that has worked. I have caught a mouse and a rat in it. Very pleased.

Will it kill mice.

I will kill them. I used it in my garage last night and the green light was blinking this morning. I had to look inside, but there he was. Dead. This trap gets them even when other traps fail to work. It is a little expensive, but it is cheap compared to the damage a mouse can do to a car in one night. The directions are easy for most people. The batteries go in a certain way and it has to be turned on to work.

Looks like it will work

The trap arrived on time. Was easy to set up. Simple to operate. I can't say if it works, as I haven't caught a rat in it. I'm hoping that's because the one I caught previously was a loner! But it gives me peace of mind to know that the trap is here and operational. But I did learn something disconcerting about rats: Did you know they can restart their hearts after electrocution? Thankfully, this trap gives them too long a zap to give them that chance...

Did not work, waste of money

I purchased this device and placed a small piece of bread with peanut butter in the trap. I check the trap every morning and on the third day I found the bread outside the trap and no dead rat. Complete waste or money.
