Would Not RecommendRat is the Pacific Northwest must be very smart. With fresh batteries, using peanut butter & later a piece bagel (the rat developed a liking to bagels) , the rat avoided the trap. Used locations along its route, on of the cabinets it liked to no avail. Going to return this waste of money.

Would Not RecommendUseless as mammary appendages on a male porcine! After a week, I bought the Victor mouse traps with the metal bait bar. I had previously tried the ones with the plastic bait bar and found them an excellent way to feed peanut butter to mice! I had to watch a youtube video on how to set a mousetrap without getting your fingers, but I have now caught 6 mice. Disposal is not a problem. My cat loves them! Wasted money
Would Not RecommendWith as much as this thing cost, I was fooled into believing that it would work.. It cost about $40. Plus 4 C batteries ran any $15. I had to replace the peanut butter twice, which means the rats go in, eat the peanut butter and leave. It's to total waste of money. The olden style dangerous rat traps that nearly snap off a finger setting them, are your best bet. I tried this electric one in the garage and outside where I've seen rats before, and it just doesn't work.

This was my the second one of these that I have purchased. They work really GREAT. Almost no mess to clean and dump. Seem to work on fairly large rats to very small mice. They are a bit expensive - But should last for ever

Would Not RecommendPlease don’t waste your money on this. If you want to be able to watch a rat walk in and out of this trap a few times before it finally shocks it just enough to stun it then get back up, then this is for you. I read the instructions correctly, used new batteries a few different times and the results just never changed. So if you want a expensive paperweight that all of the rats will tell their friends about. This is for you.
