What Customers Are Saying
The Victor Electronic Mouse Trap appears to be an effective and humane solution for catching and eliminating mice. Most customers report the trap works well, quickly and humanely dispatching multiple mice. However, some experienced issues with the trap not working as expected, such as failing to catch mice or not killing them effectively. Overall, the trap seems to provide a reliable and efficient way to get rid of unwanted mice with proper use, though customers may need to try different bait and placement options to maximize its effectiveness.

Would RecommendOne hot evening when I was working in the garage with the door open, I noticed a mouse scurry in and hide somewhere I couldn't get to. My attempts at shooing it out failed, and I didn't have any mousetraps. I wanted something humane (no glue traps), quick with no collateral issues (no poison), and clean (sometimes snap traps can get messy). This seemed to be just the ticket, and indeed, it was perfect. I installed 4 AA batteries and put a little bit of peanut butter in the bait cup, and got back...
Didn't work...
Would Not RecommendI wonder if Victor has a bad batch or something. The one we bought didn't work on any level. According to the directions, when the batteries are installed and the unit is turned on for the first time, there should be a buzz to signal that the unit is working. We didn't get a buzz, but the light did turn green so we went with it. The mouse got the peanut butter and lived to tell the tale. I really wanted this to work.
It Might Work If You Can Coax The Mouse into trap
Would Not RecommendI had a mouse and this trap locked in the laundry room for 3 days. Nothing happened. I know it works because I saw a video on the internet of these traps killing a mouse. So it must be true. The next thing I'm going to try is switching from Jiff peanut butter to Skippy peanut butter. If that doesn't work it is getting returned.

Works REALLY well
Would Not RecommendI just moved into a new home and noticed mouse droppings in the garage. Never had a mouse problem before so research the victor electric trap. I like the fact that it is a quick shock and the mice are not snapped by a trap. I have caught 4 mice so far and the trap has been working great. Was a little skeptical when I bought it but have been pleasantly surprised. Easy to use and setup.

Not worth the money
Would Not RecommendBought this trap with high expectations. After two days, the green light was blinking (signaling a mouse had been caught) so I took the entire trap outside and when I opened it up, there was no mouse. I went back to Lowe's and bought the old fashioned snap traps (ewwww!). The next day - dead mouse in the snap trap. I will be returning the $20 mouse trap and will be purchasing the $1.50 mouse traps instead.
I am sorry to hear that! If you were unable to return, please give us a call at 855-584-2867!
Great mouse trap
Would RecommendI tried everything else to catch those mice and nothing worked, so I decided to give this trap a try. Put it out at night in a spot I know the run along and nothing happed. The next dat I move it closer to the stove so they can't run around and caught 2 in less than 3 three hours. I guess where you place it is very important. Clean up was quick and easy, and I didn't even clean it after the first; just removed it and put the trap back in the same spot. I'll it out a little longer just to make su...

Bye Bye mice
Would RecommendThis beast means business. I live next to an open grass lot so mice are always an issue, but this year they must have had nowhere else to go because about 2 dozen of them decided to move into the walls. After going nuts for over a month listening to them cause chaos in the ceiling and the cat seriously slacking or not able to get to them, I took action. I tried the Catch and Release traps, which did work, but they were able to break the plastic casing if they were in there for an extended period...

Worked Great!
Would RecommendGot the mouse on the first try with this. He was always at the chocolate chip cookie bag on my counter, so I used a piece of cookie as bait. Worked perfectly. The place where you put the bait is really small and hard to get at. You may need a pair of tweezers to hold onto the bait to reach that place as you put the bait in it.

Electronic mouse trap
Would RecommendI generally don’t like to kill living things but this winter the mice were persistent to the point of the live traps just weren’t getting it! This gadget was a little expensive but have found it worthwhile. There’s no slow death from a sticky surface or getting partially caught in a painful trap. There is also no poisoned mouse for some other poor animal to accidentally consume. Best of all it tells you (with the flashing light) when a mouse has been caught and no need to touch it! Someone h...

It works
Would RecommendWithin hours the mouse was caught and trap worked!!!!
Great!
Expensive mistake
Would Not RecommendIt worked once. After that, it would flash green to indicate it had been tripped, open it up and the bait would be gone but no mouse. I put fresh batteries in it, thinking the others may have been old, exact same thing happened. Wasted money.
