Using on wood paneling
Would RecommendWe washed the paneling and then applied the bonding primer. It covered beautifully. We did put 2 coats on the panel just to make sure. Using the paint was very easy and the walls look great.

Would Not RecommendNice thick consistency. Two different pieces of furniture had bleed thru after multiple coats. Finally had to use Kilz oil based primer to seal the pieces.

Would RecommendOnly needed one two coat of paint after I primed. It went on smoothly, however be sure to follow instructions about temperature when storing and painting. It thickens when it’s cold but mixing it up helped loosen it!

Good Primer
Would RecommendI bought this to prime over natural wood colored cabinets. This is a high hiding primer. It still took two coats, but after the second coat, it was completely covered. The cabinets had a laminate type finish that was sanded prior to application.

Would RecommendI bought this for a kitchen repainting. I wanted it PERFECT! So, I bought this primer and the special Cabinet Paint. This primer is KILLER! on previously paints surfaces! Silky smooth finish, grips like mad and one coat covers completely. A work of warning is needed however. I also used it on the cabinet doors which had been strimmed to bare wood. It is obviously designed to "grip" in some fashion as it gripped the bare wood and raised the grain. I had to re sand the doors and apply a second coa...
