Fail!

Had high expectations for Lowe's most expensive interior latex ($42/gal). Had fresh primed walls over old latex paint. This "guaranteed one-coat" paint in pale blue obviously was not going to cover in one coat immediately, and I had my doubts that two would do it; and, I applied it generously. The best part was Lowe's refunded my money with only one question. I pointed where the label said "Guaranteed One-Coat" and said "It didn't."

Don’t waste your time

Was talked into SW brand because my valspar line was no longer available. Was told it was the very best paint in their line. Many many years ago, I attempted to use SW paint and it was crap. I told them so. They mixed this for me at the price of lower quality because they were so sure I’d love it. I appreciate they were willing to do this. I let them know I preferred very thick paint. Two minutes into application, I found this paint was thin and messy-took multiple coats to cover my taupe walls....

Not one coat at all

I’m on three coats I thought it would take one and a bit cans to finish it may take me 4 at this price it’s not worth it should have gone for cheaper paint not happy

HIGH Priced Can Of Water

Went to Lowes to purchase a couple gallons of paint to paint over some LIGHT tan colored walls in my living room and dining room. The "paint guy" highly suggested this overpriced junk saying that it would cover my current color( I even brought a swatch of my current color with me). One coat coverage is a JOKE. This does not cover in one coat. Period. I'm only giving this 2 stars because ultimately the finish looks nice.

Not one coat

I wanted a one-coat paint to save time. Going from lavender to white. Streaky. Lavender shows through with one coat, no matter how thickly you apply this paint. Definitely needs second coat, maybe even a third. Definitely NOT one coat, as advertised. Not worth the money if you're going to have to do two coats (or more). Disappointing, expensive, waste of time.

One Coat Guarantee Holds True!

This is definitely worth the few extra dollars per gallon. It will save you time and money in the long run because you only need one coat. I feel like a child could slap this on the walls and you still wouldn’t see lines/streaks. Highly recommend!!! The color is Amazing Gray for anyone who might be wondering.

One coat claim is deceptive

I bought this relying on the label claim of “one coat coverage” to repaint our kitchen cabinets. I thoroughly prepped the woodwork prior to painting including degreasing. I used a quality brush and a sponge type roller to apply to a white surface. It has required a minimum of 2 coats to get good coverage and in some areas has required a 3rd coat. One Coat From Dark To Light

I purchased Agreeable Gray and Shoji White both in flat. AG went over dark yellow and SW went over dark orange, all walls are medium textured. The paints were thick, self leveling, and covered in 1 coat. I used a thick nap roller. As it dried it looked like it didn't cover great, but once it fully dried it looked great. I was shocked at the coverage, especially over the dark orange. Definitely recommend.

Thick

I had the opportunity to compare this Sherwin Williams paint to Behr Marquee. This paint is extremely thick and is acrylic based whereas the Behr paint is latex. The Behr paint is definitely a true one coat paint/primer but this Sherwin Williams paint needed touch ups in multiple areas. This did not roll as smoothly as the Behr and you can see the edge of the roller. Not sure if this due to the acrylic vs latex factor and the overall thickness. Infinity Paint not worth the money, total failure

I bought this as it's 1 coat cover with primer. Covering a light colored wall, old paint shows thru after 2 coats, splotchy patches, runs, bleed thru, uneven color. Worst thing Lowes did, going with Sherwin Williams. I will NEVER buy paint at Lowes again.I had to repaint the room with a different brand

Excellent one coat coverage with walls prepared. When covering eggshell just lightly sand walls with 220 sand paper.

Great coverage and finish

We used this to paint wood paneling and built ins. We did prime first and still had to do two coats (I have yet to find a paint that really covers with only one coat) but it covered very well! I am pleased!

Sherwin-Williams Infinity

The Sherwin-Williams Infinity tinted with our Smoked Oyster covered nicely and matched can to can over the 3 gallon cans and 5 gallon bucket we used.
