What Customers Are Saying
The 1/4 inch OSB is generally considered a good, economical option for various light-duty applications. Many customers found it easy to cut, handle, and work with, making it suitable for DIY projects. However, the thin thickness was seen as a limitation, with some customers stating it felt flimsy or lacked the necessary strength and durability for certain uses. There were also reports of warping or bowing, especially when the boards were not properly stored or allowed to flatten out before use.

Works great
Would RecommendI use this to smooth the outside walls of my house for new siding. Under all the original 1870's siding, the walls are 2" roughcut planks. I use this to smooth over the slight variation in plank thickness, and fill over the spaces between.Works great for prep for new vinyl siding. (The house had been butchered over the years, so authentic restoration isn't necessary. Easy maintenance is what I needed, now)
Standard plywood.

OSB plywood did the job
Would RecommendI needed a thin and inexpensive plywood to cover the metal frame of a twin size bed before adding a layer of rug padding and ratcheting straps - to prevent the previous mattress shifting happening on the metal frame.

1/4-in x 4-ft x 8-ft Utility OSB
Would RecommendBoards are flimsy but the edges were fine. Will work OK for ceiling in a utility building. Using them to cover the insulation on the inside roof. Order was quickly filled by Lowes and brought out to me at curbside. Very professional and speedy and they helped me load. From ordering to picking up the whole process took less than 2 hours and some of that was driving time.
