Not sure if it worked or not. I thought the water leak was from behind the element. Turns out the tank was leaking up higher and running down onto the element.

Would RecommendRecently drained my water heater and when refilling turned the power on and fried the heating elements. I went to lowes where I bought the water heater and bought two new heating elements had to ask for help finding them the staff was helpful. Went home installed and they work great water is nice and hot
