Would RecommendThis is an easy maintenance you can do yourself, as long as you can remove the old one. If you ask how do you know if the old one is bad: it is because there will be water leaking out of it. Anyway I’m 61 and could not remove the old one myself. I called the plumber, paid for the $49 visit and. $20 tip, and he was able to loosen the old Pressure Relief Valve enough for me to remove it myself. The plumber wanted $300 to replace it. Told me I needed an external tank replaced and told me I should r...
