Shouldn't have needed to buy this product since I had a fresh out the box water heater hooked everything up and relief valve from the new water heater started to hiss and leak looked like it was dropped the spring inside wasnt seating all the way. On my way to lowes to get this frustrating thank goodness, I got home and this worked like a charm now have hot water and new non leaking tank!

Would RecommendProduct was fine. It has worked well so far. The reason for 2 stares: when I asked where the product was when I went in the store I was told it was in a certain isle. I went to the isle and it wasn’t there. When I told the employe that they were out he laughed and said I get that a lot.
