Would RecommendHad to replace a 10v unit with this 16v one to install a Ring security camera. Very easy to install, and the sound pleasant and loud enough to be heard throughout the house.

Would Not RecommendLeast expensive chime out there - simple, easy to install, decent sound. BUT my (same exact original) one from 10 years ago froze up (the striker pin that hits the metal hi-lo chime plates stopped moving), so I replaced the unit. Now THAT unit froze up and I’ve purchased now ANOTHER one. Just installed 08/09/22 and we’ll see how long this one works.

Would RecommendRings with one chime while doorbell button is pressed and rings a second, different chime once button is released. Gives a nice ding-dong tone. However, the volume was not very loud. Maybe I simply need to replace the transformer to increase the volume.
