Possible glitch in design

We have two of these remote switches. They are in two different rooms. The remotes are on the same channel and with their 80 foot range, both lights operate when either remote is used.

Worked Once

Can't speak to any features, value, design, or ease of use, because it only worked the first time we tried it! Returning for a replacement, hopefully this is a one time glitch, and the new one will work as advertised.

Handy way to light my bedside.

This is perfect! I bought a hanging lamp from IKEA to hang beside my bed, then discovered it didn't have a switch. With this handy contraption I plugged the cord to my new lamp into this and then into the outlet behind my queen bed. I hung the remote right beside my bed and now I can turn on and off the light anytime.

great idea

this product makes life so much easier. if you have lamps, or light decor around a room, just plug in to the bottom and use the remote instead of reaching behind the furniture to turn it on. I love it !!

Solved the problem of a lamp I couldn't turn off

Found this while looking for a solution to a problem with a lamp I couldn't turn off. No more problem. Do do think the price is too steep.

Very convenient

Makes it easy to turn on/off up to 2 appliances, I.e. Lamps.

I bought 2 - the problem is that they are about 35 feet apart and when I turn one on or off, the other one reacts exactly the same. Upon calling, the operator said that the only way to correct that is to buy the pair with seperate I.D. numbers. In that I marked them unit#1 and unit2 I will hope that Lowes will alllow me to return one and get another.

Challenged

This product seemed over priced considering I bought a package of three at Christmas time for a few dollars less. The product works but it requires pushing the on button a couple of times before it engages. It does turn on lamps but it won't work at the advertised 80 feet, 50 feet or even 30 feet. Got it to work at about 20 foot distance. If you need something to switch lamps on from a short distance this product will work well.

Fantastic rc lamp switch

Bought this for a pair of lamps we recently acquired but quickly tired of having to turn them on manually. This works instantly and beautifully. Will be buying more for other lamps around the house.

Just what I needed

This product works great and with ease. Makes my life more enjoyable. Quality is superb have had no problems with it. Will tell all my friends how good it is.

easy way to turn on hard to reach lights

we probably would have no reason to give this five stars except that the first one we bought didn't work at all. Took that one back and got a second unit and it works great

Fantastic.

I no longer have to reach behind couch to turn on tall lamp. Love this! One press of a tiny button and my lamp is on! Easy to install--just plug lamp into outlet adapter. I hope this is okay with CFL bulbs. Instructions made no mention of CFLs.

Remote control

We've purchased two of these and had to return both because they just die after a very short period of time. It was probably overkill anyway. We bought a plug that has an on/off switch to use instead.

opened package, read instructions, unit doesn't work. No power indicator on plug unit. red light power indicator on remote lights when function buttons pushed. Trouble shooting guide worthless...

Making Life Easier...

We have lights on our server with the switch's on the cords. This remote makes it easy to turn them on and off.

this product is great for turning on or off a light that is difficult to reach, it is small and easily concealed. I would definitely recommend this product.
