Would RecommendI purchased this product to create a diy vanity mirror. I use it to turn my lights on and off, and I absolutely love it! It works great with the extention cords I had to purchase to complete this project. I would recommend this to anyone that needs something such as this; all you need to do is plugin your cords to the box and plug that into your outlet, pull out the clear tab on the remote (comes with a battery) and boom your remote should be ready to use!

Would RecommendThe on/off switch on my television went out. Instead of paying quite a bit to have the switch replaced, I bought the Prime Remote Control. I use it to switch the television off and on. Works perfectly saving me the expensive repair bill.

Would RecommendThis remote was a life saver....It is always so difficult to get to the on/off switch for my Christmas tree lights - especially once I start putting presents under the tree. I plugged the lights in to the plug end of this unit and was able to turn the lights on and off with the remote control. The only issue I had with the unit is that it was hard to get the plug all the way into the outlet - just had to work at it for a bit. Of course, that meant that I did not have to worry about it coming...
These items allow us to operate things that normally woukd be a plug in and remove plug when we're done.

Would RecommendThe remote has two buttons. It only needs one. If power is on. Pressing a button should turn power off. If power is off, the same button should turn power on. Two buttons work but one would be better.

Would RecommendI bought this item to connect the Christmas lights to. I must say that it is very handy for me. I have back trouble so this saves me from having to bend over all the time to plug in the Christmas lights. I do highly recommend this product!

REMOTE CONTROLLED OUTLET
Would RecommendUsed this item on a screened back porch. One outlet is used for a pair of floodlites on the back of the house. The other is used for a string of party lites hung inside the porch. Advantage is the lights can be turned on from inside the house without going thru the sliding patio door to turn them on. Very convenient.
