Good heavy duty generator cord

I live in a very hurricane prone area and needed a cord to run the generator out to the well pump. This cord fits the bill and more. It’s 100’ long, more than enough to run across the yard. It terminates in a 220v plug but includes an adaptor you can attach to convert it into a super long 110v extension cable. We haven’t needed to use it yet but I am very thankful to have it on hand this hurricane season.

Strong cord, durable-seeming exterior

Cordset is tough, with a sturdy-looking yellow jacket. Nice big plug ends; easy to grab. Even came with a 'shorty' cord which is handy. It's about 10lbs. I put my multimeter on it and got about 1.3 ohms end-to-end resistance, which I thought was pretty good except that an online table says 100ft of 10-ga. copper (not counting connectors, etc.) should be 10% of that. This cord is strong enough to run a generator and much more. It’s very sturdy, every component including the connector. This will last a good long time

Heavy duty

A very heavy duty 100 foot extension cord. At around 25 lbs it is a heavy-duty cord. You can put a big demand on this and it won't even get warm. I tripped the breaker first. I used to make my own extension cables because the ones in stores wouldn't last more than 6 months. This will be one that can be handed down a generation or two. Sufficient amperage rating but...

This is our 2nd cord that goes from our home to work shop/storage BLDG in back yard. Rating of 30 amps is what I need to run my compressor, L.E.D lighting, triple box "exhaust" exhaust fan while I paint. 2 little "issues" I have with it, NONE are product related. Utilitech Pro 100-ft/3 3 prong outdoor heavy duty

The cord is very well made and stands out in bright yellow. It is a great addition to our camping equipment. There have been several times my camping location was dictated by the location of the electric supply. Not anymore with this extension cord. The 10 gauge gives good piece of mind, for our little camper that requires a 20amp service.

super heavy duty cord

This is a serious extension cord! rated for 20 amps yet still flexible. Plus the clear ends light up when plugged in to power. It is 100 feet so this heavy gauge will allow good electrical flow. This is a must for contractors.

Not Just for Generators!

I'm impressed - when they say heavy duty, they mean it. The plugs are solid, rugged, and I love the light up feature. The cord itself is beefy and heavily shielded, and at 100 feet, there's no place in my yard, front or back, it can't reach. I also love that it comes with the dongle to convert it to normal plugs (i.e. non-generator use). Great for long cord runs

In the past, I have had issues with power loss when using long extension cords with high amperage tools. This product works great at minimizing the voltage drop caused by long cord runs. Work great with my generator and the adapter is a nice addition to allow for using standard outlets. Because of the gage of the wire, the cord is heavy and a bit awkward to handle. But that is to be expected.

I purchased a new 7500W generator and needed two - 100' 10 gauge 20A extension cords to power refrigerator, sump pump and other appliances as needed during any future power outages. I have not used them yet but they look to be well made and should work as intended.
