Bought 2 Neither Worked

I purchased two of these timers and installed them but neither one worked. The manual switch didn't work and the display never powered up. Wish I'd read the reviews before buying these because it seems to be a common problem.

Complete garbage

Don't waste your time. This product is complete garbage. I purchased two, and neither of them work, even after leaving for 10 minutes for the internal battery to charge (even though instructions say it will only need 1 minute). No sign of life on the LCD display.

Easy install, some time to setup but working fine!

The programming took me a little bit of learning and a phone call to my daughter but we got it functioning and set that I do not have to mess with it until I want to change settings. It has made my daily tasks much easier!

Helpful for vacations

I would say I’m moderately handy and it took a few hours for me to set up with someone helping me the entire time. This will be great for times when we’re out of the house and can set light schedules that are sporadic, which makes it seem like we’re home. I do wonder if it would’ve been easier I could just buy a smart lightbulb and control it from my phone.

So far this lighting timer is durable. The timer is very accurate and turns our lights off and on at the exact times that we set it for. The design is sleek and looks nice when installed.

Dead out of the box

I bought two of these and both did not work immediately out of the box. I am experienced with electrical work and no amount of troubleshooting got them functional.

Didn’t work for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a bad switch. The installation was not difficult it took about 10 minutes. That includes switching wires because the instructions were difficult to read. It had power to it but it would not work tried everything. 😕

Maybe I got a dud, but it doesn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure if I got a dud or maybe I have installed it wrong, but even after switching line and load wires around several times, the on/off button doesn't work (it is always on) and the screen never loaded despite waiting several minutes.

DOA

Bought two of these and wired them up per the instructions and both were dead out of the box. Wired in a different brand the exact same way and it worked.

Fantastic but takes time to start working!

It works brilliantly, but it took about 10 minutes to “charge up” and turn on once wired. The instructions say to wait 1 minute, so I thought I messed up the wiring.
