Does not work

Wired this switch correctly and tired everything possible to trouble shoot but it does not work. A complete waste of money. Was excited to find a switch the didn’t need a neutral wire.

Great Product but missing instruction step

This is just the switch that I need to control the lights on the portico of my 45-year-old house. After installing it I check to make sure that there was 120vac from line to ground. The switch was completely dead. I waited 30 minutes and nothing. 45 minutes and nothing. Then I had to go run errands and when I got back 30 minutes later the switch was working. Bad instructions, read the reviews

I read the reviews after I was convined it was bad and had already put everything back the way it was . After I read the reviews, I "Hot Wired" it to a power strip and it came on in about 30 minutes. If the manual said "It may take up to 30 minutes to come on" this product would have a much higher rating and fewer returns for Lowes to deal with.

Be patient & check your ground

It will take longer than 1 minute to charge the battery. With over 4 decades of electronic background, even I thought 60 seconds was way to fast to charge, so relax and check back in 30 minutes. Also, I believe this uses the ground to complete the circuit it needs to power itself, so make sure that your ground IS uninteruppted all the way back to your electrical box. Perfect Switch for Outside Lights

purchased with the need to program outside security lights and manually turn on and off as needed. Wiring was straight forward. Was a bit challenging reading the screen as a built in light would be helpful. Switch and timer worked great as programmed. Recommended

Battery has to charge before display powers up

I have installed several of these and for whatever reason the battery takes much longer than instructions indicate. I install and walk away and check periodically until display powers up then proceed to programing. I have not had any issues with product once operational.

Same Issues. 30 minutes and still won't turn on

Looks like I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing. I installed 3 of them and none of them will power up. Have switched the wires and waited over 30 minutes with both installation and they won't power up. Sounds like folks have had to wait longer in some cases so I will leave them a while longer and see if they come on. Nothing in the instructions talk about having to wait to come on. Time to turn ON

I Must review on this. I saw many reviews that product does not work. Many may be incorrect. It took 30 MINUTES for display to turn on when connected correctly. I think the reason for this is because the product is also made for international use. Although there is a different setting to change your personal voltage input. The standard US 120V May take longer to turn on.

Dead on arrival

I purchased 2 units (one happened to be a restock item that had been opened). Both were installed by an electrician and neither one powered up nor controlled the lights. There is definitely a quality control issue with manufacturing as this experience is well documented with other customers.

Display Finally Came On After 30 MINUTES!!

I was having the same problem that others have mentioned in their reviews. The display would not come on after power up. I was using the switch in a 3 way on the load side. After numerous checks, I still did not have a display after 3 to 4 minutes. At this point, I put the original switches back in. I took a spare extension cord that I had, cut off the female end, and wired the hot and ground to the timer switch and plugged it in. After about 15 minutes, the display powered up.
