Lighting Timer

I needed a timer to give my home the "occupied" look during my frequent travels. The first digital timer I purchased only offered three "preset" choices, none of which I was completely satisfied. I subsequently returned the timer and purchased the Utilitech 15-Amp Digital timer. This timer gives me the flexibility to select the exact time(s) I want my lights to come on and turn off. Programmable light timer

Works well. Hopefully lasts. Had 1 before this one same manufacturer and it blew when the power went out. Wasn’t able to reprogram. Called customer service and they wouldn’t warranty it because of the surge. I hope I do t have the same problem

Sometimes they work

The first switch I purchased lost between 30 and 45 minutes per hour. I purchased a second switch and it seems to be working fine. They do not install the way normal switches do so be sure to read the instructions. I had the first switch put in by an electrician and the second one I made sure I wired it back the way the first switch was.

Lots of timer options

Lots of options but somewhat confusing to learn how to set times. Lots of options for many on/off times seven days a week.

Not Compatible

Item wasn’t compatible with the home wiring and consequently wouldn’t work.

Hard Wired

This is probably a great product if to need a timer that is hard wired. That was not what I needed and you can’t tell what it is until you open the package.

Auto Lights

We needed away to have our light for the front to come on and turn off at a programable time, easy to install and set up works great....

It makes lighting -safe, secure and consistent !

Easy to install, easy to set for your specific operation and easy to have outdoor lighting that provides safety and security. We're gone most of the summer months - and having installed 2 of these (front door and the garage) - we noe don;t worry about having our lights on. ' This would be a great addition to interior lights as well. You could have kitchen, bathroom and/or bedroom come on - when you're not home.

Works

Works as discribed, very easy install. Buy a new white wall plate, as the one they provide is a off white.
