garbage design

First off, the template and the light dont jive well. the corners of the junction box catch the edge of the hole. 2nd, the springs are flimsy. the plastic holding the spring broke easily and the light now just floats in the hole and doesn't sit tight to the ceiling. Just a terrible design all around.

good light for the price

I used 2 of these in a storage room about 8x10. The output is perfect, wiring was easy although they don't come with any cable clamps to secure wire to splice housing.

Would not recommend

The springs were not strong enough to hold the light into the ceiling. There was a huge gap.

Could be a 5 Star Light

These are slick lights with the 5 color options and the integrated can-less box. Unfortunately, the Mfgr. put a 4.3 in square box on a 4 in. diameter light. As the other reviewer noted, the 4.3 dia. opening with the template is too large and the light does not have a large enough flange to cover the opening. The 4.3 Kobalt hole saw from Lowes (for this application) also leaves a jagged hole in the drywall and is not covered by the light. I used a 4 in. hole saw and cut out the corners for th...

Recessed lights

Easy to install with no issues. Light fits perfectly into the existing cans with not gaps

the worst

I bought these and installed them. 75% of rhe light had major gaps inbetweeb it and the ceiling. I blamed myself first and tried to get them right ober a couple days. I pulled them all back out and the springs barely had any tension until 100-110degrees. I went to another depot store and replaced all the lights without a single problem. This entire pack went in the garbage along with a brand new 6in.

Excellent lighting for my kitchen

Changed out dropped ceiling to this LED system and it is wonderful!

Cutout template is too big

Lights seem nice, so far are working well. Color temperature adjustment is a useful feature. The cutout template that is provided is about 3/8" too big in diameter. I traced template and cut out with a drywall cutout tool and the trim ring just barely covers the whole. there is about 1/16" of drywall holding the light from sucking through the ceiling and the foam seal ring is pushed into the hole instead of up against the drywall. Good buy

This set worked well for the 10‘ x 20‘ exercise room we just created from an unfinished space. They are easy to to install and the adjustable color choice is a nice feature. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the diameter of the flange is only slightly larger than the diameter of the required hole. I wish they would make the flange about 1/2 inch larger in diameter. As it is, you have to be very careful to place them so that the opening doesn’t show.
