Not for cold areas

The light works great until the temp goes down below 15-20 degrees when it is in the security mode. When in dusk to dawn it seems to work fine. I called Lowes with this problem and they said to bring the light back even with no box. The problem is with Utilitech. I called them and told them about the problem. This is a great efficient light

I have four of these in my home and bought three more for my office building.

This company stands by their 5 yr. warranty. My light failed to work and I had no problem with exchanging it even without my proof of purchase. An excellent security light. Works at a long range and very sensitive to movement which may be a problem if you have trees in a breeze.

Only worked for a couple months

Light only worked for 4 months then had to be replaced.

This took me and my 11yo son 45 min to install. We liked the first one so well we went back an bought another one.

BRIGHT, but...

This is the brightest security light I've ever seen. It lights up my entire back yard, driveway, and hillside. The problem I am running in to with it is the motion detector. It seems to falsely activate all through the night. I tweaked the sensitivity and angle multiple times with the same results. Not sure why it is doing it, but other than that it is great. Really nice motion light. The 360 range is great. Adjustments can be a little tricky but once set works like a charm.

Great Security Light

Purchased a pair of these to replace older tungsten lights under my soffits. Extremely easy to install and the amount of light is incredible. LED technology as opposed to filament, CFL, etc. and much cooler and efficient (pennies to operate). Additionally, the tri-lights provide plenty of coverage and the electronics are feature rich (motion sense with various delays, turret sensor, dusk-to-dawn mode, and sensitivity settings). Excellent product at a reasonable price.

We installed this in our back yard for our dogs nightly bathroom trips, detects small Dachshund easily and turns off after we let them back in. Saves energy and lights well with the adjustable lights.

Utilitech 3-Head LED Fails in cold

Got three of these for outside the house. If left in dusk-to-dawn mode, lights come on and stay on and are very bright. If set to security mode, motion sensor works as indicated by blue LED light but the main LED lights never come on. These are installed in a cold climate. Absolutely fails to work as it should. Decent light

Installation was pretty much the same as any security light. I mounted mine on the under side of the eave in the front to shine on the driveway. After installation, I was trying to set when it turns on. I could only get it to turn on about 10 feet away. I noticed the sensor was pointing down, instead of up for maximum distance. A Bright addition

Just got them installed and they are great. Pretty sure they will last, but have no real time experience yet. Previous reviews were right about the brightness. Our home now gets DAYLIGHT when both of these turn on. We have an area of overlap so no shadows anywhere and the light is bright white, not hazy like the old bulb system. White exterior also blends into our white soffit and trim.

Best LED/Motion Detector Ever!

Over 1900 OTF Lumens, dusk to dawn setting, 90 degree motion detection setting + 3,5 and 10 minute settings with motion detection. Installation for 3 units took approx. 3 hours with qualified electricians. I use one light as motion detection and the other 2 as dusk to dawn. Very bright light!

I live in the country and needed to light up my front yard. I installed two of theses lights. Wow...these are bright! It was like daytime at night. These lights shine out about 75'. Very impressed.

Awesome

Just put this up on the exterior of a new screened porch to light the backyard. It looks great and has worked great. No problems adjusting the motion detector sensitivity and other features. It is impressively bright. What I like most is the ability to control it manually from the light switch inside my house, allowing you to override the motion detector and keep it on for extended periods if desired. Overall I think the price is well worth it.
