Each light requires 3-AAA batteries with are included and come with a base that can be affixed with 3M tape(included) or a small screw(3 x included). Look great but uses lots of batteries
Would Not RecommendThey are nice and bright. They mount easily. However they eat through batteries. Life span of included batteries was a less than 6 hours. Swapped for name brand batteries and got maybe 12 hours. So if you are ok with something you are going to turn on and use for a couple of minutes and turn off these are good. But if you are looking for remote under cabinet lights that you can leave on for 4-5 hours each night be prepared to go through a boat load of AAA batteries.
