What Customers Are Saying
The motion sensor has adjustable settings for distance and time, and many customers found it to be a good replacement for their old sensors. However, the sensor's range and sensitivity can be limited, with some customers reporting it only detects motion within a short distance. Reliability and durability also seem to be concerns, with many customers reporting the sensor stopped working properly after a few weeks or months of use. There are also compatibility issues with certain types of lighting, and the weatherproofing may degrade over time, leading to malfunctions in extreme weather conditions.

Light may blink!
Would RecommendOnce I figured out what I needed to to do make it work correctly, it worked and continues to work as advertised. Be advised that once you hook it up the lights it controls, it may blink.at two different brightnesses. You need to do the following to fix it. I found an online solution that if you turn the lights on and off 10x using the control wall switch, then reset the unit, it works fine! Otherwise, the unit is very sensitive and works very well for my application. It picks up all motion wi...

Works as Advertised
Would RecommendBought this to replace sensors that quit on my outdoor garage lights. Wired lights directly to this unit and they now work perfectly.. Saved almost $200 by not having to replace the lights. I would recommend using this rather than paying extra for built in sensors.

Should be zero stars
Would Not RecommendUnit programed to go to DIM mode when not motion activated. Been trying to find out how to change mode, so light will be completely off when not motion activated. BEEN SEARCHING EVERYWHERE FOR ANSWERS, NO LUCK .YET,
Replacement Sensor
Would RecommendProduct was EXACTLY what I needed, Old Sensor was cracked and worked only intermitently, actual lighting was great with side hook up to Car Port. Bought 4 new 90 watt LED bulbs for everything and WOW the lighting worked like NEW.. The part was the exact thing I needed...

No range
Would Not RecommendDescribed as having up to 70 ft. range. Even on the highest setting it only detects motion within about 10 ft. Not very useful.

If motion light fails, it's probably the sensor
Would RecommendEasy to install. Fraction of the cost of a new light fixture.

Good but with some shortcomings
Would RecommendFor the most part this gizmo works fine. However .. 1 - If you use it with LED lamps instead of incandescent lamps they will not go completely out. This is because they use semiconductors to control the light(s) rather than a relay. 2 - If you use it to control a relay rather than a light you will not get full line voltage on the relay as it doesn't draw enough current. You'll have to parallel the relay with a lower resistance, high wattage resistor. This is because they use semiconductors ...
No longevity
Would Not RecommendThe first one that I bought lasted a week and a half before it stopped working. I exchanged it for another one. One month later, the second one stays on all the time, most of the time. I am going to return this one too and buy a different brand.
not for LED
if using on LED it MUST be a dimmable LED otherwise the light will either flicker or stay on very dim. lowes doesn't even seem to sell one that supports non dimmable LED. get with the times lowes everything is LED now.
easy instructions and comes with all needed items
Would Recommendvery easy to replace sensor from original exterior lighting
