Easy to install and creates a wide light coverage.

Hardware problems

Bought two of these, found each had the wrong hardware inside. Base does not fit flush to a standard sized round electrical box, so have silicone handy. Lights themselves work fine.

Cheap flimsy plastic light for the price

Didn’t realize how flimsy and cheap the light is until after opening it up. Doesn’t even come with a waterproof gasket - instructions say to caulk it to make it waterproof. Expected more for the price.

Works very well

I gave it a 3 and not a 5 for a few reasons. 1st, the screw they supply to mount it to a 4 1/4 inch ROUND box is too short. I had to go back and buy a screw that was 3 inches instead of the 2in supplied and a few washers. 2 1/2 inches would be perfect but we could not find one. 2nd I was not crazy how the shades are held on the fixture. security light

I need a dusk to dawn feature that this fixture does not have. Motion detection is good and sensor worked flawlessly. Liked that range for motion sensing could be changed. Even with manual override the light can not work dusk to dawn. 6 hour maximum. Manual override seemed to reset after 48 hours.

Great Motion Light

Easy to install and provides a wide lighted area. Easy to adjust to set up just how you want it. Multiple options for timing which allows you to set to your preference. I used LED floodlight bulbs which shine very well and use less energy.

the little ring that holds the sencer broke, and then it will notcome on when you walk infront of it. It will come on when you walk on the side of it. it is going back tomorrow

Straightforward light

Straightforward light, installs with 3 screws and 2 wire nuts, all parts are included to mount to electrical box (not included).

easy install

The light was simple to install and works great. The 270 degree coverage is perfect for coverage at the corner of the house.

Defective

10 minute setting didn't work. Took it back. Found a comparable light for half the price elsewhere.

Installed New BY Security Light

Excellent product, replaced a older security light made by same manufacturer 5+ years ago. Same size/shape and color as product it replaced but much brighter lighting. DSoing an excellent lighting up back yard to see all areas of yard.

Garbage

Lowe's doesn't carry an exterior watertight round junction box that this fixture will fit on. Utilitech needs to size their fixtures to match standard junction boxes. This one didn't fit on the box correctly. After another trip to Lowe's and asking the person on the electrical aisle for help, I walked out in frustration because they couldn't help. I guess I'll have to go to a "real" hardware store instead.

Motion Lights

They are a little too sensitive to distant traffic. Had to face head towards the ground. Also disappointed that they don't have a dusk to dawn setting. However nice quality for the price.
