Replacement Sensor
Would RecommendDoes the job. Replaces failed unit. Easy to install and works better than the original. No need to replace the entire fixture. Have replaced at least four of them around the property and am well pleased.

Wires too short cheap but ok
Would RecommendGot my old Heath/Zenith sensor wet recently and it never really recovered. So, I went to Lowes to buy another. All I found was Utilitech GWQ27-BZ which looks much more water resistant than the old Heath/Zenith senor so I bought it. It was actually about $5 cheaper than the old Heath/Zenith senor. Well it wasn’t until I was in the middle of installation that I realized for some crazy reason that on the Utilitech GWQ27-BZ the red and white wires are 5.5 inches shorter than the black and green!...
works.
Would Recommendyou need to use dimmable led bulbs in fixtures controlled by this device. works flawlessly for months now.

Don't last long
Would Not RecommendI have used and installed many of these over a number of years and I have found that these devices are not lasting for a year or two. I guess that's the price we get for buying Chinese. In the past they would last for many years.

Utilitech Bronze Wire-in Replacement Motion Sensor
Would Not RecommendUnit was selected to replace malfunctioning unit that controls driveway lighting. Range is limited. Only have activation when car is within 20 feet of unit. No side to side adjustment on head just vertical. Will be replacing this unit with a Secure Home Heath Zenith unit which my Lowes used to carry.

no distance, on motion
Would Not Recommendfirst i didn't like that it doesn't have a ball so you can swivel it in any direction. only can go up or down. the distance was also bad, only about 20ft.
Not compatible with LED floods
Would Not RecommendPurchased two of these as replacements. My flood lights are LED and this motion sensor will not operate my existing lamps without constantly flashing lamps on and off. I suspect the sensor has dimming technology built-in and consequently is not compatible with non-dimming LED lamps. I do not need or want any type of dimming or soft start of my outdoor lighting. My nearest store is over 30 mi away and I find this a real inconvenience. I will return these and order what I need online.
Not as I hoped ...
Would Not RecommendPackaging says this reverts to "low brightness" to save energy when no motion detected. But this is only in the dusk to dawn mode, where without motion it stays at low brightness "all night." Not much of a savings. If you don't want it to stay on all night, you have to switch to "sensor mode" where it is either on or off ... no "low brightness" mode like my other sensors. I wanted a replacement sensor that, like my other sensors, stayed on "low brightness" for a couple hours after dark until m...
Worked less than 1 week then stayed on constantly
Would Not RecommendPurchased this to replace a sensor that had gone bad. Installed worked for 4 days and now just stays on all the time. Unfortunately I disposed of the box along with the receipt. I will try to take it back anyway because I purchased it with my Lowes card hopefully that will be ok to get a refund certainly don't want another sensor. Wish me luck
