Would Not RecommendThe light is ok if you don't want to run several together - then you have to go hunting for a 1/4" strain relief connector because there is only one in the box, and you will need two if you wire two fixtures together. And good luck finding a 1/4" connector at the store. Not going to happen. So no, don't recommend unless you are just installing one fixture by itself.

Would Not RecommendI got this to replace an old 24" fluorescent fixture. Had to drill a 5/8" hole to mee the incoming wire from above. Went up fine but it is so difficult to try and close it up...Not much room for wires inside and doesn't want to snap back in like instructions say. It took forever with a second person helping. 18" flourescent light fixtures don't exist anymore
Would Not RecommendAll I want is a standard 18" flourescent light fixture that does not plug in but can be wired directly into my wall in my closet where the old one was that broke. I put a starter in it, still would not work. I'd buy a regular neon bulb for it if I could find one that works, but those do not seem to exist anymore. Most of the difficulties are created by the minimal height of 1.55 inches which doesn’t allow sufficient space inside the fixture for the provided wiring connectors and a larger strain relief. Would RecommendIf you need a fixture where the wire holes are at the end of the cabinet, this is for you! I had bought two fixtures before that claimed to have knock out holes and then realized I would have to drill into the metal to make the holes - no thank you. I wish the color was slightlyyy warmer but the price was right!

OK light but no dimmer.
I ever hooked up these lights. The website says that they are compatible with a dimmer. But when you look at the Box it clearly says that they are not compatible with a dimmer.
