The light itself works as advertised. The price is the best I found for a similar size fixture (36"). It's very slim, so in my under cabinet installation it doesn't shine in your eyes unless you're under maybe 5' tall. The metal construction is very flimsy. Opening up the fixture for installation or knocking out a plug to hardwire it can easily bend the metal. Not hassle free installation

I have done a multitude of self install items from air conditioning, to light fixtures, fans, roof, repair, and chimney repair. This by far should have been an easy install. I got 4 of these for my workbench under cabinet installation. The instructions are weak. The tiny picture of how to open it was terrible. I did eventually figure it out . Wiring is easy. Extra black white and green connections are available. The small wire nuts are included. There is hardly enough room to close it up without the wires pooching out. The trilingual instructions are printed in a type face many will find unreadable without magnification. Instructions appear to value brevity much more than clarity and the diagrams are poorly chosen and designed. Nice light, confusing directions

Bought this to replace an old ballast tube light. The light itself seems high quality and is easy enough to install, but the directions are confusing if you go by them. To save anyone that reads this some time, the hardware is inside the light when you buy it. The quick connect for the power, neutral, and ground are great. 18" flourescent light fixtures don't exist anymore

All I want is a standard 18" flourescent light fixture that does not plug in but can be wired directly into my wall in my closet where the old one was that broke. I put a starter in it, still would not work. I'd buy a regular neon bulb for it if I could find one that works, but those do not seem to exist anymore. Don't trust the yellow tagged items. Make sure you

This was supposed to be discounted/yellow tagged, but did not ring up as such, and I was charged full price at register. Even though the yellow tag was staring her in the face she refused to charge me the discounted amount. So I asked for a manager to look at it. Difficult to install

I have 50 years of experience in most phases of construction, including electrical. This light fixture was one of the most difficult to install I have dealt with. Decent inexpensive light

I bought 6 of these in various sizes, the installation is straight forward. Yes they are a little finicky to get the light to snap into the tabs after you get it wired, yes there is very little space for wires especially if wiring in series. They put out plenty of light. I drilled in some extra mounting screws to really hold it tight to the cabinet. BIGGEST gripe: The tiny cable strain relief connectors....I could not find those anywhere.
