Would RecommendI bought four of these for lights in our garages. Three worked beautifully - the fourth would not go off. I returned it and got a replacement which works fine. I like being able to aim the sensor, set the duration, and use LED bulbs. Seems like a good value. I figure that fourth was just a fluke.

Would RecommendPut this in my walk in closet were there was a pull chain light. Turned light on took bulb out and screwed this in the socket put bulb it the socket on the motion sensor. Set timer for one minute and it has worked perfect every time. We open the closet door it comes on, if the door is open and you walk in the closet it comes on. We have had it about a month now. Take 1 minute to install and does not cost a lot of bucks. No more pull chain!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for older spotlight bases
Would RecommendI was looking for a fairly inexpensive way to upgrade my older spotlights to make them motion effective. I found this item at Lowe's and gave them a try. They are easy to install, but I did find out that I needed to remove the metal shields for the spotlights in order to properly seat the motion bases, otherwise the power was fluctuating to the motion bases and did not come on all the time. They work fine with the spotlight shields removed.

Would RecommendI've purchased nearly a dozen of these units. Six of which (the number of them I took out of the packages) have worked flawlessly. I had bought a few, when Lowes had the fixed (10 minutes) setting type. But, in the back of my mind, at that time. I was already looking to have something with options in time setting. The best part of the scenario, the price of them is less then the old style (10 minutes setting). They were closer to the $20 mark. If you using CFL and/or LED bulbs. Definitely a supe...
