12 Years &Going Strong-like the Engergizer Bunny!

Purchased from Lowes in 2012 for a 200' well. Only pulled the well pump on 31 JAN 2024 to determine the source of air entering the home plumbing. Pump remains fully operational...the brass well pitless connection had developed a hole from the hard well water. Returned the pump to the well; displayed no rust or corrosion on any parts. Replaced the pitless connection and the system remains fully operational. I'll update once the pump motor fails.

Still going after 13 years

My old well pump quit on a Saturday night in 2009. Lowes was the only place I could find a replacement on a Sunday. First time pulling a deep well pump, but I replaced it myself, and it's been working flawlessly for 13 years.

Purchased well pump and installed it. Lasted 3 years and went bad. Call manufacture and they said its 1 year warranty. Well pump usually last 20 to 25 years don't but this!!! You will be pulling it up again.

Don't waste your money!!!!

Didn't even last 13 months, paid over $100 more than what it sells for now.

Works for Us.

We have had this pump for 4 years now and no problems. I read all the bad reviews and was scared to purchase it but had no choice. This was the only pump on the shelf. So far all is good. 4 years going strong.

Pump is Junk

I bought one 3 1/2 years ago and just like most have said, it has failed. I am told these pumps are supposed to last 4 to 10 years. Don't waste time with this brand

Very happy with this product. Our pump died one night and after pulling it from the well we found a worn hole in the connection which allowed the line to drain thus turning the pump on/off until it burned out. It was a simple DIY replacement, after doing a little research online. We installed this in 2014 and it's still running strong 5 years later. Do not waste your money on this garbage...

It should be against the law to even sell these no good pumps. You may possibly get a year out of it with alot of prayer. My first lasted about 6 months and the replacement lasted 5 months. Please take my advice RUNNNNNNNN!

Absolute junk- Do not buy !!!

First I am a industrial electrical engineer. I can find my own root cause. This pump was installed a little over a year ago, noted on my social networking page. The motor shorted to ground and opened. The previous Myers pump lasted 20 years ! The only problem here as you can see in previous posts is the pump motor itself. Ironically, I had no other choice due to time constraints (Late Friday before the weekend) but to buy another at Lowes. It was Item # 955604 Model # 1451-0007 Zoeller 0.75-HP....

It seems to work as any well pump that I've had.

I have an 4-ton open-loop geothermal heat pump that requires 10gpm. This pump (and ones like it) hang in the lake inside of a 15' long piece of 4" schedule 40 pvc pipe. It draws the water from the bottom of the pipe, cooling the motor. (There is always at least 20' from the bottom of the pipe to the bottom.) perfect timing for a bargain. this was on clearance saved about $100. Same as the one we have had for years. Will keep this as a back up.

Installed new pump for my daughter, after getting all the breakers turned on, pump ran for two seconds and stopped. Would sit for two to three minutes and would run for two more seconds. it cycled like that til i flipped the breaker. Pulled pump and taking it back to get another. If next one fails, we will be very mad. Last one of same brand lasted 6 years. May be a reason for such bad reviews. Next one will be tested in a tank of water before it goes in. Not fun pulling a new pump when its 40F ...

Buy 10k -20k a year through lowes. 1 goes bad in that year and lowes is no help. Cant search my card trabsactions anymore. So i no longer shopping there. Period. Cant give a zero rating.

Only lasted 5 years

Failed internal check valve caused the pump to cycle continuously which stirred up sediment in the well. This clogged the tanks on the water treatment system with silt: acid neutralizer, softener, carbon, which required all the media to have to be replaced.
