Would RecommendPump is working but it had been used prior to me purchasing it in store. It appears it was used and returned and then put on self to sell. I know this because the only other pump on the self was also used and in worse condition. My hose adapter was badly cross threaded from the prior purchaser. The pump really gets 5 stars, Lowes gets 1 star for selling it as brand new prices. absolute garbage
Would Not RecommendI have absolutely no idea how anyone could rate this garbage above 1 star, it deserves none. I have gone through FOUR of these pieces of garbage, and will NEVER buy another Utilitech sump pump. You will be lucky to get 50 hours of use out of them. Even with clean pool water they will fail. I have no idea how a company gets away with selling such garbage!
