Would Not RecommendI normally do not give 1-star unless I am very mad. I installed this on my electric stove (replacing the burned one) and it only lasted a couple of days. Thanks Lowes for exchange anther unit for me. We will see how long the second one last.

Worked great on a GE
Would RecommendI was worried it wouldn’t work, because GE wasn’t mentioned on the packaging. At first, the burner wouldn’t fit in, but all i had to do was put a flat head screwdriver in there to make the opening a tad bigger.

This receptacle is a direct replacement for the original (also plastic) on my 1997 Whirpool range. There are two mounts included; you can easily tell which one fits your unit. For the Whirpool, enlarge the mounting hole to 3/16". Be sure to slip the supplied heat shrink tubes over the wire conductors before connecting the wires. Tighten the connectors firmly and shrink the tubing with a hot-air gun. My repair took about ten minutes and totally solved the problems caused by the old, dodgy origina...
Look for a better quality unit
The receptacle lasted only a few days. It does not have good clamping capability to the burner spade. Flimsy compared to the original. I purchased two but only installed one since it looked light duty. I will return the second unit

Dangerous Product
Would Not RecommendThis product should be pulled from shelves. It’s made of plastic instead of ceramic material, which most OEM products are made of, so after about two weeks the burner element is fused to the outlet because the outlet melted down. Maybe make one out of actual heat resistant plastic? If this review isn’t censored, it’s worth more to me that no one buys this garbage again than to argue about returning it with no box and it’s fused to the element.

Would RecommendThe stove had a receptacle short out. I purchased this replacement at Lowes. There were two metal brackets which did not allow for the element to be inserted in as far as needed. I improvised by adding a spacer before securing it. It work but not as well as I would have like.
