Comfortable to use, very well made

I received this rake as part of the Lowe’s Loop program. The handle was in 3 pieces and very easy to put together with the instructions included. The end of the handle has a comfortable material on it, and also on the middle of the handle. This made it so comfortable to hold and use. The rake is over 5 feet tall, but so easy to use. Versatile Rake

The Ames True Temper rake came in three parts to be assembled. The handle kept separating in the middle where it is put together. It needs a better locking mechanism to keep the rake attached. Otherwise, the rubber grip was easy on your hands without causing blisters or calluses. I found the Ames rake to be easier to rake sweet gum balls up with than my older lawn rakes. Nice balance rake with good grip

The best part about this rake is that it is balanced. Some tend to twist in your hand but this one stays steady. The handle grip is comfortable and gives extra support. Extra cushion on the top makes it easier to hang.

Gets the job done

When I 1st received this rake I was surprised at the small packaging they managed to fit the rake into. The handle came in 3 parts which required assembly. The assembly was simple using the enclosed instructions.. At 1st I questioned the structural intagrity of the handle because you just push it together to assemble. The True Temper 22Inch Steel Rake is a well built, sturdy rake the spring and rake head is made of quality materials. The handle comes in three pieces and needs to be assembled, pay close attention to the Assembly Instructions and make sure the grooves line up when attaching the handles together. What can you say about a rake. You still have to get out there it doesn't rake the yard for you! The handle on this rake is terrific. IT fits nicely in my hands and helps keep my hands fresh as I work. The grip is terrific and allows for less 'death grip' on the handle. The rake head is a terrific size too. Not to large, not small. You can rake up very quickly with the spring effect of the metal fingers. I was able to clear and thatch the yard easily with this gear.

Great rake sturdy and well made.

I recently got this True Temper metal leaf rake, and I'm so glad I did! It's extremely durable and well-made, so I know it's going to last me a long time. The teeth are very wide and sharp, so it's great for picking up leaves and other debris. The handle is comfortable to hold and it's easy to maneuver around my yard and garden. Assembly was very easy. Very nice smaller rake

I'm used to lawn tools with a one piece handle so this is little new. It arrived in a fairly small, flat, square box. The first handle piece attaches to the rake head with a bolt and wingnut. The middle handle is a metal tube with a cushioned cover. The top and bottom wooden handles press into either end of the tube and lock very securely. The rake head is on the smaller side so it's great for working around plants in the landscaping. The quality is very good.

Recently bought a replacement rake after about 10 years. Wore the first one completely out (a little aggressive abuse perhaps) as I use it in so many capacities....from reaching under and behind bushes to maneuvering around small, delicate plants to tidying up mulch in tight places in the garden. Great rake to have

I bought this rake for my son to use when cleaning up leaves this year. Very sturdy little rake. He said it was much easier to get the leaves out from under the bushes than using a regular size rake.
