Would RecommendAfter only two years, the solenoid on my John Deere Z335E zero turn riding mower quit working. It was much more difficult getting to the screws to remove the old unit, than it was, to hook up the new one. I had to remove the battery, the seat, and the plastic cowling, to access the area. Once everything was back together, it started right up. Suggestion: Take a picture of the old one, before you disconnect the wires. It'll alleviate any concerns, over which wire goes where, when installing...
No instructions and no jumper
I had the part delivered. It took 6 days. It did not include any instructions and it did not include the jumper or mounting bolts/nuts. This is a problem because it does not look exactly like the original part.
The right part.....IN STOCK!
Would RecommendMy lawnmower had a few seasons on it. The beginning of this mowing season had just begun and I got the dreaded loud click when I turned my key. I called an auto parts store as this was a Sunday and any mower repair place would be closed. No luck. I had no idea where I'd find this part. I bought the mower from Lowes so I thought I'd give them a try. I was so happy to find them in stock and the price was great. Thanks Lowes...my lawn looks great again

Makes the starter work like a new one
Would RecommendMy rider a 13 year old Craftsmen with a Kohler 17.5 was in dire need of a solenoid. I was pleased that Lowes had this in stock. It's installed and worked as designed. Don't bother to go to the competitor they don't stock them.

Works great on a John Deere LT133
Would RecommendThe starter kept spinning even after the engine had started. I diagnosed the problem to be a sticking solenoid/relay. These things are pretty generic. Deere wanted $40 for one. I could've gotten an aftermarket piece online for about $13 but Lowes had it on the shelf for the same price. I picked it up on a Sunday afternoon and installed it in about twenty minutes. It was very convenient and worked like a charm. Objectively, the quality is a little lower than the OEM part which uses a double-nut s...
