Would RecommendTape was easy and straight forward to install. This 1.6" wide is ideal for the joist width and did a good job of covering what was necessary. This is one of those products that isn't mandatory but definitely helps in the long run and should be installed. It is recommended to keep the tape warm during install to help with adhesion, which isn't that hard to do.
