Would RecommendI ended up going with Trex deck boards when the price of lumber was about as expensive as composite. In the end, I'm glad I went with composite so as to save me from the constant staining and maintenance that the later years would require. I have a ton of pine trees over my deck and I find the pine needs don't stain the duckboards like they used to on regular wood deck boards. Trex Decking - So Much Nicer Than Treated Wood
Would RecommendI installed Trex deck boards (beach dune) on my 200 square foot deck, and I love the way it looks, and its so easy to clean with just a hose. My old deck is only a few inches off the ground and was still very solid, but the wood surface was so weather beaten after 30+ years, so I painted the old wood with 2 coats of the very thick Cabot Deck Correct to seal it thoroughly, and then applied the Trex boards right over top of the old deck lumber. Trex Installation
Would RecommendJust installed last weekend so can only speak to that. Used color match screws and that worked and look great. The Trex material is easy to work with. The scallop back was lighter and less expensive but still plenty rigid. I expect it to be durable. Has my recommendation based on what I know so far. DYI Homeowner.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only got a small piece to see if was worth the price. It definitely looked better than wood decking. We are thinking about this. Our only concern is is it really as carefree as they claim. We have decided to trippy it on a small ramp we have before we invest in a wrap around deck.
