Great!

Buy a gas model instead

I bought this to replace my still working 1980 Toro 524. Big mistake! Throws snow well, but horrible battery life. Takes two batteries to clear a four car driveway. Engage the auger and it shuts down and beeps. Hard to handle and steer. Would have given it 0 stars. I want my old blower back

The Beast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Toro 24” 2 stage snowthrower started easily. Only used one battery. Runs very quietly and cut three the snow like butter! Did the whole driveway and sidewalks and the battery still had juice left! Amazing easy to use snowthrower and well worth it! I was sick and tired of gas ones and changing oil. The noise, smell and weight was on my nerves! I love, love, love my new Toro and recommend it to everyone!

Toro Snowblower is Excellent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the snowblower to eliminate the need to buy gas and oil. Go total battery power. The snowblower works great in power and in wet snow. Performed better then expected.

It sat in the garage while I shoveled

Snowblower battery powered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great but the batteries only lasted about 15 mins . I decided to go back to gas powered. No clogs was best feature.

Do NOT waste your money on this machine. It moves snow but battery life is VERY limited. Battery recharge times of 4-5 hours makes the machine totally useless. I cannot even complete my 3 car driveway and 60 foot walk with TWO batteries and then I have to wait all day to recharge the batteries A total waste of money!!!!!

Don’t recommend buying an electric snowblower

Has a gas Toro snowblower for the last eight years never had any problems whatsoever decided as a replacement to stick with Toro and opted for electric snowblower, which I am regretting the purchase very dissatisfied with the running time. One battery insufficient for lasting even 20 minutes purchased second battery, which brings me closer to an hour which is still unacceptable. In addition to a second battery had to purchase a second charger because waiting two hours at a time for a recharge is...

Very good, not yet great

I've had it for two years now and use it with two 7.5ah batteries. In light to moderate weight snow, it's extremely good. It'll throw the snow 30 to 40 feet easily. Even if it's very high (12 inches), it'll work through it so long as it's not very wet. However, the other day we had only a few inches of very wet snow and it was the first time the blower "gave up" - routinely clogged and then beeped and gave up. That was disappointing as I had to clear it by hand. However, that kind of snow...
