The Toro 60V electric snow blower offers good clearing power and throwing distance, comparable to gas-powered models. It operates quietly and requires no gas or oil maintenance. The battery and controls are intuitive and easy to use. However, the battery life is limited, with most users only able to clear about half their driveway on a single charge. The machine can also struggle with very heavy, wet snow and may occasionally clog. Some users have reported quality control issues and problems with the gearbox or other components. Overall, it is a suitable choice for those with smaller driveways or light-to-moderate snowfall, but may not be sufficient for larger properties or heavy snow conditions without additional batteries.

Coming from a 50+ year old Ariens snow blower is just total night and day. No more smelly gas or oil changes, just charge the batteries and blast the snow away. The joy stick for repositioning the chute doesn't require slouching over and turning a crank like my old machine. I think my favorite thing about it is how nimble the machine is. Build quality seems pretty good. The heated hand grips and head light are very nice touches as well. The snow blower was the second to last thing in my house I ...

Toro 60V is a disaster
Bought this two years ago with a 60V lawn mower, weed wacker, and blower. The weed wacker and blower work great on the 60V system. Lawn mower and snow blower are a disaster. I don't have any issues with battery life, but the machine is severely underpowered. Light fluffy snow with zero wind can maybe throw about 6-7ft. The chute struggles to clear snow in the lowest forward setting, and I'm always having to shovel after it's done.

As Advertised! Works Great!
Full disclosure Toro sent me this product to test. You can see my experiences here: https://youtu.be/dIHg2DOTVC0 That being said I was impressed. The machine was quiet, powerful, fast, easy to use and I believe does what it was advertised to do. I did not have the battery range problems that others have described in their reviews. With the two 7.5 batteries and in 6" of wet snow I was able to do my driveway, large sidewalks, neighbors driveway and sidewalk, plus more and it still had 1 bar on ...

Poor battery life and a beast to handle
I bought this 60v 24” snowblower summer of 2024 and was eager to tackle the snow. My driveway will handle maybe 10 small cars and the battery does not last long enough to finish with 3” of snow - even on eco-mode. Top that off that it is a beast to manage. When going in a straight line it will handle all the snow but when it comes to turning around, it takes all I have to turn - I call it a beast to manage. Throwing snow is the only reason I give one star.

Poo0r battery life
Purchased on 11/20/2024, had our first snow, was only 4 inches. Read the fine print, it is advertised to clear up to 20 cars, didn't even do 15. Now I have to wait 10 hours to charge 2 batteries. If you have a small driveway go ahead, but don't believe the 20 car clearing

Snow removal great, batteries suck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine works great. Throws powder snow real good. Wet snow the machine has trouble. I use 3/7.5 amp batteries. During powder snow batteries last for a four car driveway 12” deep. Wet snow 6” deep the batteries just clears a 4 car driveway on the eco mode. The charge indicators on the machine has 2 bars full but machine shuts down and beeps the batteries are depleted.

Issues out of the box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the new snow blower for the first 3 times a week ago and the Quick Stick no longer works to move the discharge chute to the left or right. After removing the cover to where the chute control rod enters the gear assembly, it became apparent that the rod now rotates freely within the gear when it twists. It barely enters the gear extension and thus ate through the plastic, and not because I forced anything incorrectly. It looks like bad...

Big mistake - not ready for prime time.
I bought this off of Craigslist late in the snow season. I paid what I thought would be a good price if it performed as any snow blower should. My problem is that the batteries get too hot when really pushing the heavier snow, then it shuts down. I get around this by only seating one battery at a time. As the snow blower beeps and shuts down, I can just put a fresh battery and keep going. Not the way it should work, but without a valid receipt, this is how it has to be done.
