Would RecommendI purchased a cheaper thermometer with my grill 2 months ago and while cleaning it, got water on the main part that ruined it. Since this was my fault, I obviously didn’t return or warranty it but set out to buy a water proof or at least water resistant thermometer. So far, one month in, I’ve picked well. Works well, reads quickly, has stood up cleaning, I would recommend and learned a valuable lesson to not go cheap on a thermometer.
No more doubts, I’ll know when my dinner is done!

Would RecommendRight out of the package this thermometer is ready. I did test its calibration and it's on point. It does take a few seconds to get to the reading, it's by no means immediate. I wanted something fast since I often have my bare hands or a hot grill to get a reading. So far no burns :-) The big red numbers on the display are very nice.

Would RecommendSometimes the item will display Err due to getting too warm. I feel it doesn't handle heat very well. To get around this problem, I'll hold the meat away from the grill to get a measurement.
