Perfect

This is a great in use GFCI electrical box. Fits a standard plug and cord with the cover closed over it. Many don't. There's a small plate that is removable to have it become an in use box. It just slides in and out so you can always put it back in later. Many boxes you break it off and it's not replaceable. Easy to install, seals well im and the GFCI was working well when I tested it.

Item is 15 amp. Does not have indicator light.

Contains a weather resistant tamper proof white Hubbel GFCI outlet and box mounting screws. The outlet is made in China. There are two spots on the sides that allow cords to be routed with the box closed maintaining weather resistance (like Christmas lights). Excellent outdoor box kit! Great instructions

I’ve tried many different outdoor boxes and none compares to the comprehensive nature of this kit. This included everything, had extra perks and innovative plans included in the kit. I enjoy the ability to lock the box and have a slot open for the wire to go out. Installation was a breeze and would be easy for non-electrician inclined. Highly recommend and hope to see this box UV rating last for years and years

Rectangle Plastic Weatherproof Electrical Box

Had No problems installing if you can install a regular receptacle you can install this. Now if you do not know how turn your electrical breaker off you should not INSTALL THIS. box is good quality works as it should.

Much Improved

This box is a significant improvement of my old style box. Previously I had the version that remained exposed when a device was plugged in. Spring loaded flaps allowed water in. This new box is not only enclosed, but it can also be locked which I really like. The cover is clear plastic but has a segment in the middle with a viewing window so you can check your GFCI for fault lights. Good product for outdoor protection

I added outside outlet that need gfci protection and this is a good kit fit it. It comes with a boxtgat has a foam seal that secures to an outlet box, 20 amp GFCI, and screw to fasteners. They box has a clear cover that can be changed to swing open upwards if need for you application. The outlet has a light to indicate if powered or if the switch was tripped.

Solid Outdoor Outlet

This outdoor electrical box meets our local code requirements to place electrical outlets outdoors. We used this outlet near the pool area. I have an outdoor GFCI on my porch. It is old, bulky, and still operational but could use replacing. The 1 gang plastic receptacle cover has a nice quality look to it. It is very well made and easy to install. I would definitely recommend this product.

Replaced a 20 year old outdoor outlet.

I used this GFI covered outlet to replace a non GFI old receptacle. Installation instructions were clear and straight forward. Make sure you turn the appropriate breaker off before starting work. The receptacle is marked line and load for all lines. My old receptacle wasn't marked (nonGFI) so I had to guess and got it on the second try. Not Bulky

One of the things I liked best about this Hubbell TayMac Weatherproof In-Use Box Cover is that the bubble cover wasn't overly large, like so many others are. The lines were clean, there were no rough edges, everything felt smooth and of high quality. Easy to install easy to use

Very durable easy to install comes with a fifteen anmp GFI and great directions. It also allows cables to move through even if the door is closed you will just have to snap out the front or the sides where you would want the cable to come out.
