What Customers Are Saying

The product has a sturdy construction with spacious storage capacity and one-handed operation. Customers appreciate the removable bins, steel reinforcement, and compatibility with the broader system. However, the latch design is criticized as weak and prone to accidental opening, causing spills and lost parts. Some users have experienced this issue repeatedly, leading to frustration. There are also complaints about the fixed handle design and lack of additional dividers. While the product has many desirable features, the latch reliability issues appear to be a significant drawback.

Great product!

Would Recommend

I'm an electrician currently transitioning from the Milwaukee Packout system to the Toughbuilt Stacktech one. I've had their pouches and clip tech way before the Milwaukee packouts came out. This organizer is huge! (Compared to the Milwaukee packout equivalent). The bins are very deep allowing you to store a lot more items in them. And while it does get heavy, I needed additional units (more money, more weight) to carry the same.

latch comes loose from simple vibrations

I do IT and have each yellow bowl containing a different type of clear ethernet connector. I Love the way the little compact organizer latches to the bottom of my tool tote. While walking up the stairs the latch comes loose and all 300 different clear RJ45 connectors spill down the stairs. who knows if I got them all back but what a mess and easily took an hour to sort them all again. very embarrassing in front of the client. please redesigned and send me a new latch as these are unusable to me...

terrible fit and finish

Would Not Recommend

They stuck a label on it that won't come off even with goof off. the logo came off first. You cannot stack on top of this level due to poor design even if yo uhave two of them on the same level. They said they were going to fix this but that was supposed to come out months ago.. .silence. Avoid the half sized one, or anything with a smooth, clear top that they've stuck a label to.

Handle doesn't fold

Would Not Recommend

No folding handle like the other StackTech products? All my other stacktech products fit PERFECTLY in my Decked truck drawer system. I've been waiting for this low profile parts organizer for a long time, and now I can't purchase it. The taller one has a folding handle, but the shallow version is better for my organization. Why not give it a folding handle like the taller one? It won't fit in my drawers with the fixed handle, so I have to resort to another brand of shallow parts organizer.

misleading advertising

tricked my into buying $400 of this system almost 2 years ago on the promise of delivering a gurny style "advanced transporter cart" designed for pick ups... they still advertise so many good images that they dont actually offer .. i since bought into ridged instead and will never buy another toughbuilt product.

organized but?

Would Not Recommend

The containers are useful by removing them and attaching to sidebars for various projects. The front handle interferes with the cart when attempting to install backwards in the stack. The latch is difficult to open and I put on gloves so that my finger nails remain in tact. The latch looks like it will wear out.

Shipment to home was terrible! Updates were not accurate, I had to call customer service to get a delivery date. Maybe shipment to store might be faster but I’m not planning to determine if it is any time soon.

The only thing I didn't like was the Sticker on the case was hard to take off and I wish it had at least 1 big tray in it, but other than that, it's pretty good

Organizer spills easily—awful latch design!

Would Not Recommend

This is a tool; it should help you finish the work faster, not create more problems. TOUGHBUILT has a great design that focuses on a single latch, the most critical area of an organizer. It opens easily on the street, at the worksite, and in the garage. While the single latch idea seems great, the execution is flawed—a tiny bump, and everything falls out. Dear Toughbuilt, please revisit this design. If you decide to keep the one-latch system, it needs a fallback mechanism—perhaps a pin lock or ...
