FIX THE LATCH

I have bought multiple stacktech boxes and the small parts organizer latch system is by far the biggest problem with their line up. It also happens to be my single most used box as it is carried with me from work station to work station. Like many other reviews this latch has popped open on me so many times. Been shopping around at the other brands purely due to this issue even after buying 8 or so boxes.

Love how deep this is and I like how it locks together with other pieces.

Functional

It works. Dividers are too tight a fit inside, which causes them to push each other up, but it will close and latch. Latch is…meh. I love TB Stacktech products, so this goes with the set, but I’d buy a different small organizer if this will be your only TB product. The rest of the TB products get a 5 star from me.

Solid and great size bins.

Great product except for the lid latch!

Like: Great product within their limited ecosystem of products. Its lightweight and comes with all the organization bins. Dislike: Only reason its a 3 star is due to the locking mechanism for thr lid itself. I would agree with everyone else negative review of the lid latch. It does not have a strong lock up. Latch easily bumps off and yard sales your stuff. Quick fix like others recommended is to dremmel out the inside underneath latch area for a better lock up.

Nice for the small things

It’s very handy for all the little bits & pieces. I really like that the top is clear so that you can easily see what is in the case. It also fits snugly enough that things don’t move around unless they’re really tiny. The only thing I would change is the stationary handle. I like the sturdy handle, but it would be nice if it folded so it didn’t stick out so much.

I bought 2 would buy another.

So far i really like this system, i did a ton of research and finally decided to go with the Stackteck line over the other options, I really like the new updated locking drawers on this version. I would like to see more bins and inserts come out for the system as well as side rail accessories in the future. Over all so far the build quility seems good i havent had any issues with the system thus far. I will be picking up a few more small compartment modules when they come back in stock.
