What Customers Are Saying
Customers are sharply divided on this trap's effectiveness. About half report it fails to catch mice despite proper baiting, with mice entering, consuming bait, and escaping unharmed—many describe it as a waste of money. However, some customers confirm successful catches within days, praising the clean, no-touch design and ease of setup. Reviewers consistently appreciate the simple baiting mechanism and disposable nature, even those experiencing failures. Overall, performance appears highly inconsistent, with success unpredictable and reliability questionable.

Would RecommendEasy to bait with peanut butter, easy to st, and if you catch something, you don't have to see it. I pick up the trap with a long-handled grabber and take it right to the trash can.
Easy to use, no mess, pet safe
Would RecommendEasy to bait and set, easy to monitor if a mouse is caught, and at $5.49 for a 2-pack not too expensive to just toss the entire trap out if a mouse is caught. A big plus is that it is safe to use around cats and dogs.
Mice laugh at this trap
I have placed this in a known (observed with my own eyes) mouse path......and they walked around it. I'll try something else and put this thing in the garage with the redesigned white ones that don't work either.
Always works
Would RecommendWhenever we see signs of a mouse we set one of these and catch it within a few hours. Easy to dispose of.
We have an unwanted four-legged tenant so I purchased four of these and put them in different areas of the house using peanut butter as bait. I have watched the mouse run right past them for the past two days. I will go out an buy the old-fashioned wooden spring trap tomorrow and will get my Dad to pick up the trap and mouse when it is caught. I agree with many of the other reviewers: the idea is great for those of us who are squeamish, the trap is easy to set, but it does not work.

Junk
Would Not RecommendI followed the instructions used peanut butter as bait it's been 2 weeks or so and still nothing. I tried this because of kids in the house and safety but it seems it keeps the rodents safe also.
Top Spin
Would RecommendThese work and are so easy to set AND dispose of....what more can you ask for?
Doesn't trap mice!
Would Not RecommendI've had prior versions of this with good results. My most recent purchases of 2 of these traps don't work at all. They just sit there. I've tried to trigger the trap myself to see if they are functional and there is no response. Clearly a defective design.

A waste of time and money
Would Not RecommendAfter a week of peanut butter as bait and another three days of cheese, the critter just ignored the trap.

didn't realize it was a "one-catch" gimmick
Would RecommendI got a pair of these cheap at a rummage sale. Have also been using the Tomcat snap traps and have caught over 30 mice with them. Set these and caught a mouse in the first couple days, but couldn't figure out how to empty it and reuse it. Then I went online and discovered they expect you to just throw it away. That makes it just too expensive a proposition for me.

Not a better mouse trap
Would Not RecommendI bought four of these with the magic bait from a tube. The bait works on the old spring loaded snap trap, but even that stuff didn't catch anything with this spin trap. It just doesn't have a trip sensitivity that trips the trap. Mice love it, I don't. A waste of money.

I watched a mouse going in and out of the trap
Would Not RecommendI bought 2 packs of these due to I don't want to see the aftermath of the kill. I have a mouse outside my window he's coming in and getting in the vent. I sent the trap outside against the wall baited with peanut butter. I watched as he went in and out if the trap many times eating the peanut butter. The trap never worked. I set 3 traps he went in all 3 never set one off. I wish these were able to be set more sensitive.

Only for larger mice
Would RecommendI've used them before and they have worked, but this time the mouse is too small to trip it.
Do not work
Would Not RecommendI bought these in the two pack and both do not work. We watched the mouse go freely inside out and no bait is being eaten either. It appears the bait may be tucked under a plastic part which the mouse cannot see? Anyways we are having to buy something else now. From reading other reviews, you should not sell this product as it clearly does not work.
