Somewhat better than the old wooden traps. Extremely sensitive and hard to set in place without triggering. My past experience with this trap is that they wear out quick and after several uses will not rewarm.

When I use a snap trap, I expect it to kill the mouse quickly, not to be even crueller than a glue trap.
