What Customers Are Saying
The product has received mixed reviews. Some customers found the traps effective at quickly catching mice, appreciated the reusable design, and liked not having to touch the trapped animal. However, many others reported significant issues, such as the traps not having enough force to kill the mice quickly and humanely, being too sensitive or not sensitive enough, and breaking easily after a few uses. The overall consensus seems to be that the traps are not reliable or effective enough, and customers would be better off using more traditional spring-loaded snap traps.

Would RecommendThese work. Easy to bait and set and dispose of the little critter. Went back to store to buy more sold out.
These don't work
Would Not RecommendThese traps are horrible. They do not trigger. I have 2 and neither has caught a single mouse. They just eat the bait off the trap and move on. I have 2 traps of a different brand that I bought at the same time I bought these. They are only a few feet away from these traps and they have caught several mice. These have caught zero. They are a waste of money.
Works great! Surprised at the negative reviews.
Would RecommendI am surprised with the negative reviews. Because I have had 3 of these traps. Each one has successfully caught the rats/mice that were in my garage. One of the traps caught two rodents. I highly recommend this trap.
Use the right size
Would RecommendMany complaints about it either not snapping or not killing when it snapped. We have used these for years and they work great when you learn how to use them. For mice, use the small trap. For large mice and rats use the larger trap (we nicknamed “Big Bertha”). You have to only put the bait in the small well in the bottom. Pack it tightly so that they have to work for it. If they are snapping the trap and not catching the mouse, you are probably not placing the bait correctly or you’re using a t...
Now it's TOO sensitive
Would Not RecommendThey look like they've gone too far in other direction now--it's too sensitive. Tiny amt of peanut butter and trap won't stay open. Much better Tomcat product are glue traps or the white jagged edge snap traps

A Poor Trap
Would Not RecommendI am feeding the mice because they can raid the trap without setting it off.

Don’t waste your time and money
Would Not RecommendThe mice get the bait without getting trapped . So you end up feeding mice.

Body count = 2 dead and 2 got away.
Would RecommendThis is an easy to use trap that, using peanut butter, lured 2 mice to their demise. A couple of mice set it off without being killed, though, even though the traps were baited and positioned as directed. That's about the same result as traditional wood/wire traps.

Two broken traps, zero trapped mice
Would Not RecommendBait was taken out of the trap several times, and both traps were broken within two weeks. Don't waste your money or time on these

This trap works
I had my doubts frankly if this would work. It does! I have caught 3 mice so far in a short time.

Not Humane
Would Not RecommendAs cute as mice are... But when they get into our homes we are forced to find a trap system that will humanly eliminate them with no suffering. We bought a few of these traps. On both occasions that a mouse was caught in these traps we found them alive, suffering and trying to get free. Being an animal lover we had no choice but to take them outside and set them free. Even the old style snap traps did what they were supposed to do. I would not recommend these traps to anyone.
