I baited it with a bit of peanut butter and some birdseed and I had the mouse in less than 24 hours. Just be aware though, that when you check the trap you might not see the mouse inside as he is able to hide in the back portion of the trap under the solid plastic entrance ramps so you can’t see if he’s in the trap or not. Works every time

Easy to use

Good concept but didn’t catch a mouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have mouse droppings in our garage and had wanted a more humane solution than a regular mouse trap. This mouse trap seemed good in theory but it has yet to catch a single mouse. I know the mouse is still in the garage as the bait is missing from the trap and there’s still droppings. I was disappointed that it didn’t work as well as I had hoped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trap is quite sensitive easy to set up. The problem is that the mice in my house refuses to go into it. It opens fairly easily for release as well. Small and compact to place in a lot of places at home.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a solution that didn't involve harming the mouse, and this trap delivered and you can even reuse it. It was easy to bait (I used a tiny smear of peanut butter) . The black color makes it blend in and the fact that it doesn't harm the mice give me a piece of mind. However it's not too big so i don't think you can catch big mice with it. I put it up my attic and will see if it works!

These work for live catch

well thought out live catch mouse trap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Tomcat Live Catch Mouse Trap for my honest review. This is one of those contraptions that makes ya wonder, "How'd we go so long without thinking of this?!" It's a great idea and put together well so that it WORKS. I love the Live Catch because making animals suffer is heartbreaking to me. If you feel the same, this trap is highly recommended!

A humane method to eliminate mice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A innovative device that captures the mice live, allowing them to be released back into the wild. The trap is mounted on a fulcrum point once its tripped the trapped door closes them safely inside. Just a dab of attractant on the back wall causes the trap to activate, once they reach the food. An effective way to rid your house of mice without all of the gore of traditional traps.

Good for Pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is easy to use and a good price. It is effective and safe for other animals. I like that my pets can’t get hurt by it. I don’t love that the mouse is alive and you have to release it but that has its advantages as well if you don’t want to hurt the mouse. It is a good product for that purpose.

Easy to use mouse trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tom Cat live mouse trap is awesome. Just put some cheese or peanut butter in it for bait and set it where you've seen evidence of mouse activity and leave it. Soon you will catch the mouse!

It’s ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s easy to set up and I think an overall great idea. It’s easy to bait and set up. I live in the country so catch and release only lets the mice run back to my house. Killing it humanely is also not an option for me. The other issue is apparently the mice in my area are too fat for this trap. A larger size would be nice.

Great mouse catcher

As someone who lives in New York you never know when you’ll get a mouse. Would rather humanely release in the park before my sweet Wednesday gets to them.

Good trap for small mice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its affordable. Has a few flaws but overall working great! It works best when you put the door side toward the wall. And its good on little mice. If its the big one, they can wiggle out of the trap easily

Simple, Easy-to-Use Mouse Trap!

We get a lot of mice where we live and we’ve found the live traps work better than the snap-traps, make less of a mess, and are safer for little kids around. Most of the live traps we have are large so I love having a small one that’s more discreet and can fit in smaller spaces. Trap Mice and Keep Them Alive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this live trap! It's super easy to use and very effective in trapping mice. It's safe to use as it does not have components that snap back on your fingers or hands. As this was gifted to me, I cannot speak on its cost. It's a great choice for trapping mice. It keeps the little critters alive and you can release them outside. Highly recommend!

Not effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent tomcat live catch mouse trap free in exchange for my honest opinion and after trying I give it a 1/5 stars based off effectiveness due to it not being effective at all in catching the mouse at all. As well as for being difficult to use right out of the box, overall I do not recommend.
