Bought this to grout me back splash. Went to open it, well was already opened, used and returned to the shelf. Spent the following hour returning it to lowes

Charcoal Gray grout for backsplash

Just what I was looking for to contrast white subway tile behind my oven. Professionals installed it and wiped the tile good several times with a soft towel so there was no haze left behind. Happy with the results of this grout!

A great grout

This grout mixed easily and completely. It was easy to work into the spaces between the tile and left few air pockets. The grout stayed soft and did not harden too quickly. It cleaned up easily off the tools and tile. The final appearance was very nice. A great grout for sure.

Dried out

If you purchase this product be sure to open i up at the counter to make sure it is not all dried up. I bought 2 of these grout's and 1 of them was 1/3 dried out on the top layer. I was able to complete the job but disappointed with product.

This is about as good grout as I’ve ever used. Went on good as any I’ve used.

easy to use

I put a tile backsplash in my bathrooms and this product was super easy to use and dried perfectly with no problems

Very easy to use

It was easy to use. I liked the color for my job. It has only been on the wall for 2 weeks - so past that cant tell you much.

Looks great but a little hard to work with

I bought this to use on a mosaic backsplash that had glass, stone, and metal tiles. I didn’t see the recommendation of not using this product on metal tile until after I had it home so I decided to use it anyways. It turned out great but it was a huge pain getting the excess grout off the stone tiles. I literally had to scrape every stone tile with a plastic putty knife or my finger nail. You definitely can’t do more then 1 square foot at a time without cleaning off the excess or you’ll be fight...

Not carried in stores now.

I had to order this grout since Lowes stopped stocking it in stores. Normally not a problem. This order was a ten pound plastic tub of pre mixed grout. It was in a cardboard box, with a plastic bubble wrap around the tub. I wonder who at Lowes shipping thought this was a good idea? The tub was open, the grout was all over the plastic wrap and cardboard box. The tape holding the box closed was down to a couple of threads before the box would be open. What a mess, it's going back. Come on Lowes ST...

Difficult work with

Purchased this 1/9/18 to grout tiles on wall. First impression was very grainy and dry like old. Was difficult to trowel on and fill joints. Used my fingers more than tools. Difficult to clean off surface of tiles.

This grout is perfect

Exactly what I was looking for! The gray color is perfect, I paired it with white subway tile and it looks dark but definitely not too dark, it's gorgeous and I love the sanded texture and look. It went on easily. I also put this grout in my shower with some dark gray tile and it looks like a very light color, so perfect with everything.

Great Grout

This was the first time I ever purchased pre-mixed grout. WOW - Fabulous product. Perfect consistency and immediately ready to use with a quick stir. I had a small area to cover (approx.50 sq') and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend this product.

Using TEC Skill Set sanded grout

I mixed the grout using a 1/2" drill and a mixer tool. It fluffed up nice and was easy to use. Adding a small amount of water as I used the grout mixture kept it moist making it possible to use all I mixed. It cleaned up easily by following the instructions. I would use it again on my next project.

Wonderful for California Slate Backsplash Install

Installed a California Slate and Glass Block Mosaic Backsplash using this grout. Slate was sealed and slate had varied Thickness. Worked great! Glass had a plastic cover and I did the first pass with float with plastic on, then removed to make sure the grout filled in all the way. I worked in very small sections before cleaning (2 feet by 2 feet) to prevent haze. Because of the thickness (very thick tile - almost like stack stone) and variance of this tile, coverage was about 25 Square feet. Gro...

Great Product

Until I have used this premixed grout, I was always a believer in mixing the grout and adding sealer. I installed this about 6 months ago, and it went on very smooth. It has maintained its color and did not stain from major spills or pet issues like another room with the standard grout I used. s for as a haze issues, I had none. If you properly wipe down as you go, cleaning the reaming haze was a breeze.

Work fine!

Bought these for a woodworking project. I did not realize that they require a square-head drive. Fortunately, one was included. Thanks. They are a little smaller in diameter than I had wanted, but they seem to do the job well. Fair price, as well.

Hard to work with for a DIY project

I am not a professional, but have regrouted showers in my home before without problems. I was not happy at all with this product. It is very grainy and difficult to get into a 1/16" joint. It takes 7 days to dry instead of a day or two for other products. If you do buy this and have trouble cleaning up the haze, the manufacturer recommends ammonia mixed with water. This worked better than the other tips on youtube.
