Would RecommendI actually bought this for my wife and I. She likes to work with fabric and needed a long, straight edge for cutting with a rotary cutter. This allows her to cut across the fabric with out it being folded. She is happy which makes me happy.

Would RecommendI recently bought a laser level for home repairs, and was pricing grade sticks. Expensive. Then I saw this. I can use it as a grade stick and it works great. Numbers start from either end so you don't have to turn it over. I'm also leveling roof over front porch, so I can measure down from ceiling as well as up from floor.

Would RecommendYup, this is a metal ruler. It can also be said that it is a ruler made out of metal. It is painted yellow and is 48 inches long. I know, because I counted them. Yup, all 48 of those inches are there. This is important to know, because in the wonderful world of building and construction, this is not always true. For example, a "2X4" is not. A "2X4" is actually 1 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches. All kidding aside, what I like about this is that, no matter what, there is always a wee bit of "slack" in any me...
