Good Umbrella

Great umbrella, has an extensor pole that you can attach to make it taller. It only has one height option. You have to crank it to open. It does have solar powered led lights that give ambient lighting. You can adjust the tilting mechanism, it requires some extra strength to use that mechanism. Overall a decent umbrella, I’ll be curious to see how long it holds up to the sun and weather.

Great addition to back yard patio.

This will be a nice addition to my picnic table. Built sturdy, operates smooth and tilts easily. The lights are nice and we have not run the battery dead. The solar keeps it charged even in the early overcast spring. Time will tell on the UV durability. I'd recommend it.

Nice large Umbrella

This is a very nice, heavy weight material umbrella. The umbrella has a very smooth working crank to open and close. it's size covers our 48" patio table with ease. The tilt feature is nice to use when the sun sets in our area. For late evening relaxing you can turn on the LED light strips.

Great looking, Sturdy, Umbrella

I got this to replace an aging umbrella that had seen it's better days. This on is a heavy duty umbrella, the cranking mechanism feels solid. I like that it has LED lights, it's nice that you can also replace the single rechargeable AA battery if it goes out. The lights seem plenty bright, you can see in the picture that they are easy to see in full daylight. I like that you can tilt it, sometimes that is what you need to do for the angle of the sun. Nice big, lighted umbrella. Fully assembled. Easy to put together. Shades nicely. Thick fabric. Easy up and down. The light however is not as bright as I would like.

Excellent!

I was shocked by how nice this umbrella is! It’s quite heavy and the quality is great. Easy to unfold and wont take much space once it’s ready to be put away. It has a solar panel at the top to charge the lights that are on the inside which is neat. Provides good coverage with the tilt and without it. Below are pictures of this.

Very Nice Patio Umbrella

We are very pleased with this umbrella. It is sturdily built and very easy to raise and lower. The lighted ribs add an elegance to its appearance. The color is also very pleasing. I doubt one could find a better quality umbrella at this price point.

Nice umbrella, I like the lighting that is built into the underside and the solar panel at the top works well. Mechanical crank is well made and sturdy.

Sturdy and beautiful Sun-Ray Umbrella

The Sun-Ray 9’ round solar lighted umbrella was super simple to install. Simply remove umbrella and pole from box and wrapping. Then I checked the solar box on the top to ensure that it was connected to the wire inside. The solar box comes on and off easily with a twist. Some brands do not have the wire attached in shipping, I found that this one the solar plug was already connected so replaced panel. Lots to love. Excellent for the price. Great color. LED lights with solar panel on top so no extension cord or batteries needed. Easy to crank open. Switch on the base for lights. Tried it both on the side with the tilt and straight up and down in the middle of the table. I think it will work best for most in the middle of a patio table. Highly recommended.

Wonderful umbrella for outdoor space!

The umbrella come fully assembled and is incredibly easy to set up. It gives off just the right amount of light at night (doesn't feel like you have a spot light on you). Since it's completely solar powered, there's no need to think about plugging it in before use. The umbrella is also very sturdy and stable.

Beautiful and robust

Unlike other outdoor umbrellas, the fabric on this one is soft and pliable and doesn't have that weird cheap noisy burlap type fee. The solar panel on the top is a perfect touch as trying to run power or replace batteries all the time would really limit the desire to use this. Lowe's has once again hit one out of the park. We have had several patio umbrellas over the years and most have disappointed us. Well this one is excellent. Great Umbrella, Fits perfect on my picnic table

Great Umbrella, used it on my 4 foot by 4 foot Picnic table, my crew enjoyed the shade while eating lunch, And then I enjoyed it in the evening, I got to see how long the lights stayed on Solar power, they won, It was over 3 hours. I hung a Bluetooth speaker on one of the arms and enjoyed the sound bouncing off the umbrella. Nicely weighted umbrella with metal framing, easy to turn open mechanism and light switch that lights from underneath. 1 minute installation, just connect the bottom piece to the top and the umbrella is ready to go! The fabric isn’t too heavy and the umbrella stays open nicely, it’s been perfect for our patio. It has a tie closure to keep umbrella shut. Overall really happy with the umbrella.

Plenty of shade but still with some illumination

This patio umbrella will get the job done even into the night. The fabric isn't flimsy or cheap feeling with the rest of the components feeling sturdy without feeling too heavy to manuever around when it's time to store it. It's a nice umbrella, and the built-in LED lights and solar charger make it even nicer! It has all the features you need: a crank for the rope that opens and closes the umbrella, a locking pivot joint, plus those lights! It's big at 9 feet diameter, and solid with 8 arms (not 6). Lots of color choices. Another nice feature: The supplier (to Lowes) has a US presence, and you can contact them for spare parts, upgraded canopies, and even the storage cover that I've installed here.
