Works for a few months

We bought this doorbell in March 2017 and had no problems installing it. It worked very well, we have a 2000 sq ft house and had no problem hearing it from anywhere in the house. It exceeded our expectations, until it stopped working. We replaced the doorbell battery and the batteries in the speaker box, neither helped, so this doorbell kit lasted about 7 months.

Quit working

Bought this doorbell in November 2017 and it quit working two months later. Hopefully I can take it back to Lowe's and get a refund.

Should have read the reviews first!

Someone tampered with this one before I bought it. Opened the package (that had been taped shut - I should have known from that to not get it!) The dial that adjusts the volume fell out of the package - this dial is from within the casing so someone had removed the screws and opened it up previously as well. Fresh new batteries. Pulled tape from battery in button. Followed the directions (which are horrible to follow)and a big loud NOTHING! Tried repeatedly removing the batteries, putting them b...

Rings by itself

This doorbell looks great but for some reason rings throughout the day randomly all by itself.It woke us up several times at like 2am already thinking someone was at the door and no one was very disturbing.

Well I should have read the reviews before I purchased this doorbell. I have it a couple of months now & like someone else stated, it "has a mind of its own". The doorbell will ring on its own all hours of the day & night. Very frustrated. Unfortunately I don't have my receipt or packaging to return it. Lowe's shouldn't even be selling this!! Do yourself a favor & don't waste your money on this doorbell!

Worked well for 5 months then died!

Loved this doorbell. Worked well for 5 months, then died. I changed the batteries in the indoor and outdoor unit. (The outdoor unit battery was over $6.00!) Don't know why it stopped. Very disappointed.

goes off on it's own in the middle of the night

The darn thing rings it's self! 1am, 3 am.... atleast twice a day!!! Do not purchase this piece of junk!!!

Waste of money

I purchased this doorbell because it looked nice. I got home and easily installed. Over the last year, only a handful of times this was used. Then it died. I thought it was the batteries and so I replaced all of them, and still nothing. Just outside of the warranty. Don't bother buying this as you'll be spending money in a year to replace it.

Works Great

This doorbell works great for us. It has never been set off by anything else. I don't know why so many people gave it a bad review. It is loud enough to be heard anywhere in our home. We are very happy with this purchase.

Buyer Beware

Worked once or twice, then nothing. Unreliable and complete garbage.

Battery dies after 2 days

I have replaced the battery in the outdoor doorbell push button 4 times since purchase and installation one month ago. Junk.

Too quiet!

My cell phone can ring louder than this. It is going back tomorrow because if I was in any other room than the bell I would never be able to hear it.

Button kills battery in hours

I purchased this and the battery that came in the button was extremely warm to the touch and did not even work. Then, I purchased two new 23A batteries and it killed both of those within minutes of usage. This product is complete garbage and needs to be removed from the shelves.

The doorbell button kills the battery in no time. I have changed the battery three times. I check it after about a week of installing a new battery. Dead every time. Do not buy this.

Worked on two two times and died!

Nice look but cheap plastic. Set up, sync and tested two times and worked. Died after install and mount. Following multi-language trouble shooting intructions were difficult and useless. Don't waste your time and money on this piece of junk! Now I have re-pack and make another trip to Lowes, wait on line for a 36.00 refund. The way It see lowes owes me 100 bucks for labor and two wasted trips to the store. Oh, gotta go someone is knocking at the door!!!

Functions correctly

Had no problem installing or using this door bell, have put 2 of them in rental property now, probably getting another one. Mounting the button is no problem with screws, it just doesn't come with them so you have to buy them or use some you have.

Stay Away From This One

I had this installed by a professional contractor on June 7, 2016. Although it looks very nice, it "has a mind of its own" because it randomly rings when there's nobody pushing the doorbell (a major annoyance when you're trying to sleep), and it randomly chooses the tone to ring, despite my having chosen a particular one. You get to chose from: (1) ding; (2) ding dong; or (3) "Westminster", which is how a grandfather clock sounds -- ding, ding, ding, dong ... ding, ding, ding, dong. I chose "...

Shoddy product

This doorbell came with no instructions. It states on the package you can choose from 3 different rings and you can manage the volume. That is false. It came with nothing to mount the doorbell with. It was almost impossible to open it up to insert the batteries. One of the latches broke in the process of opening it. I would not Recommend this product.
