You can't change the chime
Would Not RecommendI followed the directions exactly how it was in the manual and I still get a "ding". I spent a good 20 minutes trying to change to the "ding-dong" but I still get just the "ding".

Would RecommendDidn't feel like going up into the attic to replace the transformer. Opted for this instead as a replacement. So far, so good.

Would RecommendOur old doorbell has been out of order for years - FINALLY, we bought this one and we LOVE it! It can be heard all over the house. I love the Satin Nickel color.

Would Not RecommendReally like the look of the doorbell set as it blended well with the handle set we have on our front door. Chime it makes is nice as well. However it uses a $4 battery and it’s run 2 batteries dead in about 4 months. Not sustainable. Will be buying a replacement soon and throwing this one in the trash.

Would Not RecommendThis was installed in 2016. New batteries installed may 2019. Doorbell not working 2/2020. Replaced all batteries and doorbell will not chime when pressing the button. Verified proper switch configuration, proper battery orientation, and repeated sync protocol 3 times. Will buy something different.

Looks good but doesn't work very long
Would Not RecommendI should have read the reviews before purchasing. Liked the style and color. Worked for less than 2 weeks. When somebody hit the doorbell button, the doorbell would not stop ringing. Didn't matter which setting it was on. Replaced batteries, reset it but nothing changed it. I returned it with no questions asked.

Utilitech Wireless Doorbell
Finally threw this junk in the trash today. Cannot see how it get 4.5 stars, should get negative 4.5 stars. Never worked consistently, ran through batteries in button and ringer, leached batteries regardless which brand you use. Had a short distance but worked 10% of the time. In the trash where it belongs.

Would Not RecommendWow. I love taking multiple trips and wasting my time and money for a doorbell that stops working as soon as it rains. Lowe's wouldn't refund the 1st one since I got rid of the box. Silly me for thinking a brand new doorbell would work longer than a month. Sooo, I guess since it's not at all waterproof I was supposed to install it inside the house? Where it doesn't rain occasionally?? That way it won't short out and start going off nonstop in the middle of the night. Sure, that makes sense...
