Would RecommendMy mother-in-law hangs her bird feeder on a hook. The old hook broke and she needed a replacement. This is similar to what she had. I bought it and swappes it out for her. It works great and is easy for her to reach.

Question: OK on wall instead of ceiling???
Question for the manufacturer. I'd like to hang a mirror (less than 25 pounds) Must this item be installed in the ceiling or could I use it on a wall? I will need to use the toggle bolt method of installation since there is no stud where the mirror needs to be centered. PS - I rated this a neutral 3 because I haven't used it yet.
