I cannot wait for spring so we can fill and have hummingbirds. We have had bird feeders but none specialized for hummingbirds. This feeder is sturdy and functional. I like the part that blocks the ants.

The hanging hook is red coated metal. The top cap and the bottom feeding ports + perches are plastic. The simulated white flowers are a very soft, flexible material.
